Stopped at The Pelican as we had things to pick up nearby. Lovely quiet location, great welcome from the owner Jackie. Very comfortable nights sleep.

Needed a place to stay for one night close to Norwich. The pelican inn guesthouse exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here. Jackie was lovely and so understanding as we were late arriving due to traffic. The room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfortable and there was fresh milk for tea and coffee which rates very highly for me. Breakfast was lovely and loads of it. Really present stay.

We were made to feel very welcome at The Pelican. It is a very old building with a homely feel. The large farmhouse kitchen, where a self- service breakfast is available is most relaxing. There is a large outdoor seating area too. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Exceptionally clean. The pub itself is now closed but the large breakfast area still has the feeling of being a pub, having breakfast in your own private pub is an experience in itself as well as having the beer garden to yourself whilst having an afternoon tea. Hosts extremely welcoming.

This was a nice getaway.. so welcoming and friendly. Lovely room, clean and tidy. Shower was the best. The breakfast/lounge area was lovely and dress up with original features.. Area has great views. The garden area, calm and relaxing. Would stay her again.. Thank you for a great stay..

My friend recommended The Pelican Inn as she had been a view times and loved it. I decided to book a table for my birthday and I have to say this was the best pub I've been to in the Norfolk area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I loved the decor in the different areas of the pub - moving from old pub features to new! The starters were lovely and the mains even better! I had a steak which was cooked medium rare, just the way I like it (something which rarely happens), and the handmade chunky chips were to die for! Despite being full I even tried one of their desserts and I must say that topped off my whole evening! I was even tempted into buying a couple bottles from their ale store! All in all a lovely evening and a pub I would definitely recommend to others!
