We stayed in the Sandringham Pod with 2 kids and there was plenty of room. The pod was nice and clean, and was extremely lovely looking. Set in a park out of the way of main roads, it was a quiet area. The swimming pool is well maintained and was a welcome on the hot day we checked in. I like the idea of a security gate that requires an access code as you know your children are going to be safe. The only downside is that the mattress requires replacing as every spring was felt when sitting or laying on it, and that we had received an email to say the clubhouse and bar would not be open. We found that this was because of a license hiccup when new owners took over the park, but this was not a massive issue for us but would have been nice to have somewhere to go in the evenings. The park is a short drive from most of the coastal towns and children's attractions such as Roar and Pettetts farm. Overall a lovely place with friendly staff and holidaymakers

Facilities on the site were good, well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. The outdoor heated pool was a great feature. Very peaceful and quiet site. But a couple of niggles the tennis is mini tennis not full size courts. Only one Court has a net. The petanque court is neglected and bumpy. The cycle route referred to in the site details is not as close as the details suggest.

Lovely and quiet.. ok so there was a Cock bird calling in the early hours which may upset some.. but welcome to the countryside. If you want sound proof get a hotel. Nice staff, clean loos and warm showers. No complaints.

We stayed at Merryhill last year when my daughter went to a festival at the Norfolk showground. We dropped them off and stayed here. We were camping. What a lovely peaceful place to stay. Very clean and the owners were friendly. I cannot understand the bad reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning this year. Lots of places to visit nearby. My dog enjoyed it too!

I have never been one for posting reviews however because we love our static caravan so much I couldn't resist. We brought our caravan 2015 just after the new owners took over and can honestly say best decision we made. We love whenever we are off work just getting away from it all and visiting our caravan. Sometimes on our own and other times with our grandchildren who love the adventure. Each time we come we find some where new to explore which recently was the fishing lakes ten minutes away with a beautiful nature reserve. Seeing all the caravans arrive also gets us into the holiday mood as we drive down the hill. The grounds people work so hard to keep the place beautiful. Well done to all the staff at Merry hills I'm so glad we discovered our little peace of paradise.

We brought our caravan to Merryhill from a Park Holidays site a few weeks ago, looking for a quieter, less commercialised park. We intended to give it a year to see how we liked it before thinking about upgrading. However, within two weeks we were totally smitten with the park, the surroundings, and most importantly the friendly staff and park owners, John and Georgina. We saw a newer caravan in a perfect position, and having been offered a good part exchange we decided to buy it. We are surprised read some of the unpleasant comments from previous residents, I'm sure they have their reasons for these personal remarks but from our point of view we are sure we have made the right decision and look forward to many happy years here at Merryhill.

Just returned from a long weekend, had a great time. The people who run it are friendly & so helpful, couldn't fault them. Facilities were good, the site was spotlessly clean, we can't wait to go back when the outdoor pool is open & a few more holidaymakers around. Definitely would visit again & would recommend!!
