“Room was great, we took our own. Service fantastic, we looked after ourselves, after a friendly welcome from the site staff. The location is great for walking, especially into the City of Norwich.”
“Booked for 3 nights and must say its absolutely stunning . Beautiful lodge great hot tub which is privately secluded and overall definently worth the money. The hosts were so cheerful and kind. Would definently recommend it here .”
“We have just had a wonderful four night stay in Burnside Lodge at Alderwood Lodges and we had an amazing time. The lodge is very secluded and private with beautiful countryside views, with wildlife including deer, rabbits, garden birds and squirrels seen every day which was absolutely great! The lodge is very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect relaxing and recharging stay. From the wonderful welcome from Leigh to our last walk with our dog along the river through the stunning grounds, it was fantastic from start to finish. Our dog loved every minute and we loved how dog friendly the lodge was! We have booked our next stay before leaving and cannot wait to be back. 150% recommended!”
“We had the most wonderful stay from start to finish at Moat Island. Georgia and Chris’ communication right from booking, to leaving, was outstanding. They met us upon arrival, and was always responsive and helpful. The hut was so special. It was so well equipped, and finished beautifully. You are surrounded my woodland, walks and river. The beaches only a 25+ minute drive. The communal toilet and shower blocks were always kept clean. The swimming pond was an amazing added bonus! We enjoyed our hot tub and wood burner in the evening after having a swim and some dinner. Thank you so much for having us, we can’t wait to return and tell our friends all about this hidden gem! Priya & Friends”
“Couldn't have wished for a better campsite. We loved it so much, we booked our next stay as soon as we arrived back home and can't wait to go back again. Well maintained grounds and excellent facilities including small shop in reception, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/ freezer, even had an ironing board and microwave! Shower rooms and toilets were always spotlessly clean and showers were lovely. Also had a baby changing room. Very family friendly with play equipment and an area in which to play. 10/10”
“Such amazing accommodation, better than the pictures. Hot tub and garden area were bigger than expected, we hired a boat and we would highly recommend this, it was the best day out we've had in a while!! Most of all, Claire who works there is amazing, she went above and beyone to make our time there a good one, definitely an asset to the company!!”
“Went to Broadlands as a day visitor with my husband and 2 friends, from the beginning Tom welcomed us and all the other people were very friendly. Beautiful wood walk, swimming pool and grounds. We will be back again from Nederlands, thanks everyone who made are stay very enjoyable. Debbie en Maurice”
“We loved our stay at the Old Vicarage Campsite. Laid back, spacious, clean. Hot showers were a bonus! Would stay again, Greg Kylie Jude Jessie and Kit.”
“First time here and boy didn’t we have a good time! The owner Chris was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help you out. It’s close to all the attractions we wanted to go to which was great. The facilities was always clean and the other residents were lovely to have a chat to. Will be returning! 10/10”
“What an absolute find! I was lucky enough to stay in one of Top Farms Shepherds Lodges last weekend. Amazing! The lodge was stylish, clean, well equipped and perfectly located. The owner was incredibly helpful in settling us in and the views… beautiful, uninterrupted vistas across the Norfolk countryside, stunning stars at night. I’ll go back and recommend to anyone looking for a blissful escape from life!”
“This has everything a dog needs and more!! Took my boys for a long walk (hour around the fields). Well, sign posted and easy to follow. There is also a 20-minute walk. Enclosed fields for dogs to go off lead. You can hire a smaller enclosed field for your dogs to train recall or play with dogs safely. There is a swimming pool for dogs. An agility course. Grooming salon. Alpacas on site. Camp site. Finally, a perfect dog friendly cafe. They have a dog menu such as: roast dinner, pup cake, burgers, sausages, milk, and pawsecco. Then, a wide range of human meals. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly. My dogs bark, but I never feel embarrassed.”
“We had a great stay at this beautiful small campsite. It was easy to make an online reservation just days before we arrived. We liked the tranquility of the dell field and the absence of cars. Lots of green and space. Staff was very friendly and quickly helped to move our tent and other stuff to the field (and back). The camping is ideally located for a visit to Norwich as well as the countryside and coasts of Norfolk.”
“A wonderful activity centre and a fabulous experience for the younger generation awaits. The activity staff are quietly professional, friendly and engaging for the younger audience, and help to create fun memorable experiences. The main building is modern and clean with excellent resources. Large well designed areas for either meal or seated activities and a large high ceiling function or activity room with a large wall screen. The kitchen and catering facilities are first class. Highly recommended for single day or stay over events.”
“Utopia Paradise offers a truly serene escape with its adult-only, pet-friendly policy, ensuring peace and quiet for all guests. Nestled beside a beautiful, willow-clad lake in the charming village of Lyng, Norfolk, the site’s nature-focused management maintains a wonderful environment for wildlife enthusiasts and tranquility seekers alike. With amenities like on-site WiFi, nearby bars, restaurants, and recreational facilities within a five-minute walk, this family-run caravan park is perfect for those looking to relax and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!”
“We stayed at Park Farm Camping for 3 nights with 9 Adults, 6 Children & 2 Dogs, it was fantastic the showers & Toilets are clean, the park on site was brilliant for the children, there is a pub 15 mins walk down the road. Pitches were spacious. Ryan & Hannah were very accommodating. We will definitely return.”
“Really enjoyed our first stay on the camp grounds. Luckily our first night was lovely and quiet. The chemical toilets were lovely and clean and the drinking tap was easy to find. The ground was secure with gates and padlocks. Must check out the Hungry Otter for delicious coffee and cakes. Salhouse broad is small but special.”
“We had the most amazing time. Lodge was clean. Staff very helpful we couldn't get the telly to work arrived within ten minutes. Restaurants reasonable priced. Swimming pool great fun. The wild life comes right up to the door. Make sure you take bird food and food for the deers.”
“Stayed the weekend at this hidden gem of a campsite. All pitches were good sizes with stunning views. There is a communal bbq area all free to use, a lovely fire pit area for the evening where everyone came down to sit. We had access to paddleboards and canoes all included in our price which was really good. The shower and toilets were kept clean and tidy. In the evening when the sun went down all the night lights came on making the place even more appealing. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back ♥️”
“I enjoyed my walk around the Marina. There were some fishermen trying to catch some fish. There is a parking lot right there and the first two hours are free. Clear and detailed map of the town hanging near the entrance, and clean public toilets. Little tea shop right accros the street.”
“Just stayed at this fab site with a large group of friends. Amazing value for money. The site is very well kept clean and tidy. The best showers we have had and we have been to many sites over 11 years of camping. Lovely big pitches and considering the site was full its was very chilled and quiet. Amazing little shops over the road , lovely butchers bakery , fish and chip shop , pub and convenience store. Lovely big field for children to play ball games and those that have dogs. Definitely booking for next year!!!!”
“Just got back from an amazing family holiday. Caravan stayed in with a silver with a beautiful balcony, No 36 Swan. Nice and rustic, also had a bath which is rare for a caravan. Lovely and roomy, was a joy to stay in. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to put your head down. As for the park, I have been to all 4 in the Great Yarmouth area, although not kitted out as much as the others, this one has hit me and the family as the best and well worth going. Shop on site reasonably priced and other stores near by as well. The only thing that could be better on the park, would be the additon of a soft play but other than that....it was awesome, and no not being paid to say that. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, calm and easy to relax here. I strongly recommend this park. We will definitely be returning next year.”
“Spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The chalet was spotlessly clean with the beds made up on arrival. The site itself is fantastic. Great views overlooking the sea with a nice lawned area and a few benches and picnic tables set up. There are laundry facilities on site & it's close to the local amenities. It also only 5 minute walk to a very nice beach.”
“It is popular, Social Media Creators are making this place go viral, Whispers from past visitors are sharing this really is a must visit place ... So is it worth the hype? I went to investigate! I took a wheel chair disabled client Large car park... with some designated disabled bays. Great flat access for wheel chairs. The cafe is up the stairs.... but there is a small lift .. Whilst this may be poky.. this was brilliant with its glass walls to overlook the fields. The cafe is VERY popular and VERY busy.... BUT we were seated and the staff did a magnificent job serving people and the wait was minimal. The prices not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. We had the sausage roll and chips, and blimey, it was a beast! The quality was insane! The small independant shops on the groundfloor were cute and worth a visit selling a variety of things from food to craft and more. With the word farm.. i would have liked to have seen animals but I didnt see any. There is camping facilities but today was just a visit. A lovely trip out.”
“Clean well equipped caravan with clean towels and bedding provided. Central heating for chilly nights. Lots to do in area and close to Cromer while husband was fishing. Well maintained lakes. Friendly on site staff.”
“We really loved our stay at this campsite. The shop is very nice and the facilities are clean and fresh. There is no electric hook up here but that was clearly stated on the website before coming so no worries. The broad was lovely to walk around”
“We had a fantastic holiday here. Absolutely amazing location. Our little dog Jasper had the time of his life with the beach just a few steps away. Highly recommended.”
“We went as a 3 generation family group. Cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and family hot tub outside. Would have awarded a fifth star but for some issues with furniture. The whole site was beautiful and secure.”
“Chose to ignore the bad reviews and go try for ourselves. Soo glad we did. Great holiday. First holiday as just a couple with our 18 month old. Very quick straightforward check-in. Caravan very clean on arrival, smelled fresh. Nice and warm, heating system easy to use. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the pool. Good free activities on with their tots week for my 18 month old. Soo convenient being able to park outside your caravan. Nice food and drinks at the boathouse restaurant, reasonably priced and free food for kids during the tots break with good options available for them. Shirley-Ann in particular was really helpful and approachable at the bar, but we didn't have any bad interactions, everyone would give you a smile as you went by. Didn't get to see the evening entertainment at the show bar, but there was something on every night. Easy checkout process. First holiday with parkdean and will 100% be coming back.”
“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at California Cliffs — it exceeded all our expectations! From start to finish, it felt like the perfect family escape. Pool & Facilities The park’s swimming facilities were superb. There’s both an indoor and outdoor pool, complete with waterslides and fun features that kept everyone entertained, no matter the weather. Whether we were splashing about outside on a sunny day or enjoying the indoor pool when it was cooler, it never disappointed. Entertainment & Shows The evening entertainment programme was stellar — there was something for all ages. The Trouper Productions shows were full of energy and variety, with themed nights that kept us excited to go back after dinner. We also enjoyed the Park Live acts and street performers throughout our stay. Kids adored the “Milkshake Mornings” with dancing, singing, and crafts, and the Starland Krew appearances were a hit too. Food & Dining Dining options at California Cliffs are excellent. The on-site Boathouse Bar & Restaurant offered a broad menu of family favourites, and the ambiance made dining feel like part of the holiday experience. We also appreciated the takeaway fish & chip options and the convenience of Costa Coffee for quick snacks. Overall Atmosphere & Staff The park has a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout. The staff we encountered were delightful — always helpful and ready with a smile. The grounds, amenities, and communal spaces felt well maintained and inviting. Many previous guests mention the same: “All staff we encountered were lovely and extremely helpful.” Summary If you’re after a holiday where entertainment, comfort, and convenience all come together, California Cliffs is a fantastic choice. Pools, food, shows — they’ve nailed it. We can’t wait to return!”
“We brought our caravan to Merryhill from a Park Holidays site a few weeks ago, looking for a quieter, less commercialised park. We intended to give it a year to see how we liked it before thinking about upgrading. However, within two weeks we were totally smitten with the park, the surroundings, and most importantly the friendly staff and park owners, John and Georgina. We saw a newer caravan in a perfect position, and having been offered a good part exchange we decided to buy it. We are surprised read some of the unpleasant comments from previous residents, I'm sure they have their reasons for these personal remarks but from our point of view we are sure we have made the right decision and look forward to many happy years here at Merryhill.”
