   Lovely campsite, really beautiful spot and great atmosphere when we visited. Dog friendly, and campfires allowed so we had a lovely weekend relaxing. Facilities are excellent and clean, location is great - next to whitlingham Park and Norwich. Only downside is the staff weren't the most enthused - generally seemed like teenagers who are on summer hols and kept disappearing.

   Best campsite we’ve ever stayed at! Family-run with a peaceful vibe, friendly staff, and great touches like a well-stocked, reasonably priced shop, wheelbarrows for gear, and firepit hire. Plenty of space between pitches, clean facilities, and a lovely play area for kids. Stunning setting for stargazing, just minutes from Norwich, the Broads, and Ellough Raceway. Only downside – signposting could be better. Already planning our return!

   Friendly campsite not too far from central Norwich, and within reasonable stumbling distance from pubs in Trowse. Lots of nice walks nearby, especially along the river and Whitlingham Broad. Showers and other facilities are great. You can hire a fire pit, and purchase wood from the well stocked little shop. There's also a cafe next door 'The Flint Barn' in case you don't fancy firing up the stove for breakfast.

   We really loved our stay at this campsite. The shop is very nice and the facilities are clean and fresh. There is no electric hook up here but that was clearly stated on the website before coming so no worries. The broad was lovely to walk around

   We stayed for 2 nights in March in one of the woodland dens and it didn’t disappoint. The campsite itself has fantastic facilities, although we didn’t need to utilise as the den has its own toilet and shower facilities but we did check the campsite ones out and they were spotless. The den itself was very well equipped with kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had all the essentials plus additional items and lots of consideration given for families with younger children. We enjoyed a play in the park onsite which our daughter loved and waking up each morning with a fantastic view of Whitlingham broad was a real treat. Things that gave the den a warm welcoming feel: wood burner with ample wood, selection of games, cosy blankets, an incredible duvet that sent me to sleep in minutes, tranquil setting in the woods.

   Thoroughly enjoyed staying here two nights. We made the most of a little bit of luxury in Chalk @ the Whitlingham Broad Campsite. Chalk tree house is beautiful, clean and stylish with plenty of creature comforts. The indoor net hammock and fire pit tucked in a semi-private patch of woodland makes for an elite glamping vibe. The camp site is picturesque and reasonably close to amenities and some nice pubs. It was very quiet due to the time of year, which was ideal for us and two little dogs. Would absolutely go there again.

   We are just in love with the Flint Wood Den, or as my kids call it, the tree house!! It is just the perfect escape place for a cosy family weekend in nature. The space is absolutely gorgeous, so beautifully integrated in the landscape and so playful with the kids! We’re already counting the days to be back again! Staff is also lovely and helpful!

   Arrived at 5.15pm , sign said register at reception but all closed up and nobody to be seen. Phoned number but no answer. Left message to say we had arrived. Did not receive callback. So went ahead and pitched up tent. Ranger turned up around 10am following day. Disappointed with lots of add ons. Had to pay extra 1.50 a night for dog? What for as it was in our tent. If you needed phone charging , extra £1 each time. Fire pit £3.50 a night, then kindle extra and charcoal, so all adds up. When ranger did turn up, very polite. Toilet and shower facilities very clean but shower not very warm. Disappointed actually, won't be going back.

   Fabulous campsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Toilets and Showers were extremely clean. Fire pit hire was a reasonably priced. Freezing of ice packs also very reasonably priced. Very beautiful location. Will definitely be booking again.

   superb campsite and helpful staff. changed my mind about having a campfire just after the shop closed, spoke to the guy and he opened up again and sorted it. obviously he didn't have to, but thought I'd recognise that it was above and beyond the service expected. Also amongst the best toilet and showers facilities I've come come across at any campsite. in the words of Arnie "I'll be back". but not with guns..
