   From booking and arriving James and his wife were very welcoming, Beautiful little site that is clean, stunning views and so peaceful, close to the Octogon Barn which was perfect as we attended a wedding reception there. There are chickens and fruit trees and it’s the perfect place to relax, Do listen to instructions and come in from Little Plumstead as makes the turning into the gate much easier, would highly recommend and will return, Thankyou for a lovely stay.

   It is James's back garden. A fantastic place, friendly host and a couple of rare breed turkeys. Who would want for more. Except...You must provide your own toilet. Water is available and chemical toilet disposal if you ask. Basic but different and a lot of fun.

   What a gem of a find! The paddock is a wonderful peaceful setting; striking a perfect balance of being carefully tended to whilst leaving nature room to take its own course. We had the pleasure of having the whole site to ourselves for 3 nights - all of which were thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. James was a wonderful host, both welcoming and helpful. Henri's Paddock is amongst the best wild camping sites we have stayed at. We shall most definitely be back!
