   I just want to say this place is such a good place and all the staff was really nice and josh who was in the reception was a really kind person and these 2 lovely ladies who helped us change bed sheets was amazing. The fishing is great and I would recommend to go because there is some nice fish in there and ducks. The hot tub is lovely and it will tell you when it has been ten minutes. I just want to say this place is AMAZING. me and my family love it!! I highly recommend it!!

   We stayed in a 3 bed lodge recently for a family birthday long weekend away, and really enjoyed it. The lodge was spotlessly clean and a Christmas tree was up with lights on for our arrival, which was a lovely touch. The bedrooms all had ample space and storage, and beds were comfortable. The living area was very spacious and comfortable too, we were a group of 6 adults and it didn't feel cramped It had plenty of crockery etc. The site is in the middle of the countryside, so very quiet and peaceful and also didn't hear noise from neighbouring lodges. We arranged a 10am check out which was more suitable than 9am for us. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodation and had a very relaxing break.

   Everything was fine until the miserable women in PF14 Lodge! The lake has a water pump and one of the ropes wasn't attached to the post at the other end of the lake and whiles fishing i cought a fish then it got stuck on the rope that was under the water I called the office to let them know what has happened the next day they guy came out to move the pump back to where it was and I see the women talking to the man and the man came over had ago at us for apparently undoing the rope which we never did but I spoke to him again and said we never touched anything and that the women 2 years ago had screamed at us for fishing in the lake and said we wasn't aloud she then went and got someone they then told her we was aloud i have this booked for next year but after that we will avoid coming back which is a shame as its a lovely clean holiday park and all the workers do a brilliant job.

   All I can really say is wow. The site was spotlessly clean and tidy, as was our lodge. Fishing was superb, and all the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My only regret was not booking a lodge with a hot tub with the weather we just had. Listen if you fancy a perfect break away from the hustle and bustle, with just the scenery and nature for company then this is the place to go. Either just as a couple or to use as a base for the family. You can't go wrong. We've already rebooked for later in the year before we had finished this break.

   We went as a 3 generation family group. Cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and family hot tub outside. Would have awarded a fifth star but for some issues with furniture. The whole site was beautiful and secure.

   Excellent Lodge. However, all mattresses had springs just under their surface causing backache for 7 nights; the pillows were of poor quality causing neck pain; the Wi-Fi disappeared for hours at a time and lastly, there were noisy airplanes overhead throughout the day.

   Brilliant holiday resort, clean and well presented. Accommodation was bob on, only bad part I can say Is the mattress was too hard for my liking but that's person preference. Scenery and surroundings are belting, and you get beautiful sunrises and sunsets overlooking the heritage railway.

   Just a lovely amazing quiet place to stay. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. A true delight to stay here and do a spot of fishing. The on site restaurant is amazing too. Definitely recommend this little gem to anyone.

   Absolute gem of a holiday park. Lovely and quiet with a nice on site coffee shop serving food with a small children's play area. Coffee shop staff could not be faulted for the friendliness. Short drive to Dareham with the usual facilities and shops.

   Visited Poppies cafe today, the food was generally good and the service from Debs was excellent. What ruined it was the response from Mel when my wife explained that the lasagne was so hot in the middle that she burnt her mouth. We weren't looking for a refund or discount, just a simple sincere apology and to know that they would try to make sure that this didn't happen again. Mel was immediately on the defensive stating that the food had to be served piping hot and only offered a half hearted apology as a last resort. The food needs to be served at 63 degrees or more but not so hot that it burns the customer's mouth so they can't finish their meal. Also the garlic bread appeared to have been reheated not fresh as it was very chewy.
