Cracking campsite. Super quiet, lovely local food and drink, toilet and shower facilities are spot on. Parks and walking trail are great for young kids. We stayed on a basic tent pitch, generous sizes and caters for all types of stay, motor homes, vans, glamping pods and huts. We will be back.

Really lovely campsite for families! Perfect location right next to the zoo and just a short walk to a shop, butcher’s, chip shop and a pub – super handy. The facilities were spotless and very modern, and the play areas were new and brilliant for the kids. Great spots to walk the dog too. Only small gripe was that even though the site wasn’t very busy, they still put everyone quite close together instead of spreading us out across the pitches. Would’ve felt nicer with a bit more space. Overall though, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I stay d with 2 teenagers in a basic glamping pod, which was just perfect for our night's stay. The site was so clean and well maintained, plenty of water points and we had a picnic table outside the pod for our use. After dinner we went on a walk around the grounds, in the forest trail, and noted to ourselves the huge field we could use for frisbee, which we'd have to bring on another trip! We didn't have time to use the games room, but spotted the chess game we will try another time, and the play park looked lovely, although my two were too old for it. If course, the bonus for us was the proximity to Banham zoo, as it is one of our favourite places, and in the night on a trip to the bathroom, my son enjoyed listening to the faint sounds of the animals! I would definitely recommend this campsite. We intend on returning, probably with a tent and for a longer stay.

Just stayed at this fab site with a large group of friends. Amazing value for money. The site is very well kept clean and tidy. The best showers we have had and we have been to many sites over 11 years of camping. Lovely big pitches and considering the site was full its was very chilled and quiet. Amazing little shops over the road , lovely butchers bakery , fish and chip shop , pub and convenience store. Lovely big field for children to play ball games and those that have dogs. Definitely booking for next year!!!!

We have taken our son here to many of the events this site run throughout the year, most recently the Halloween weekend. It’s a great site with lovely staff. The staff go to great efforts at the events to make them successful. The Halloween walk must take forever to organise and so much effort goes into it. This site is well worth staying at we’ve always had a great time here in our caravan and I’m sure our son will have some great memories of it when he is older.

Looks like I’m a year overdue for this one, popped in last week to see a friend, and seemed no different. So you have a plenty parking at the gate for visitors, the parks wide layout means it’s not a long walk from one end to the other, but it’s still spacious. Here’s toilet blocks in the centre of the main field, and in the corner of what I’d call the quiet tent field, which has a big central divide, which softens a lot of noises, and adds to privacy. There is a small but good sized play area for kids, but also on the entrance side, out the way, is a games area, with giant draughts, and table tennis tables, there is other bits but can’t recall what they were, and after the second field there’s a massive open field for dog walks and football etc. All in all, the site was ideal, couldn’t fault it at all, has everything needed. Bonuses are that it’s situated alongside the zoo, and gives a discount off entry, can’t recall what it was as we didn’t visit the zoo when staying here, but the zoo is amazing, a lot bigger than I expected, and has a big variety of animals. The bird show is a must. There’s a chip shop over the road, along with a shop, which has a hot drinks machine, and a quaint pub. If buying a pint, you can sit in the beer garden and eat your chips. Definitely be visiting again at some point, my friend who joined me last year enjoyed it so much he returned this year with his wife and kids to fully experience it, the kids were loving it when I saw them.

Very clean toilet facilities every time we used them, friendly staff on arrival and departing, my children really loved the games den and also the park! Would really recommend! The zoo is also right on the door step and there’s a lovely corner shop just a 5 minute walk away, also a hairdressers, butchers and takeaway so plenty of food nearby!
