Their pictures were awful and they don’t offer the extras other EAs do (drone shots, higher quality images etc). The 2 stars are because Hollie was lovely
This estate agent seems to work in a very underhand way, we viewed a rental property today (which we had enquired about as soon as it came on) Appointment was made, we thought that we were first in line (as not told otherwise) no we were 2nd but another one was following along afterwards .We went straight back to this agent & said yes, we were interested. Whereby, they stated that someone (one of their current tenants) had already spoken for it just before we viewed & it was a done deal? So would not let us fill in all of the paperwork, so that it could be put before the landlord to make the final choice. Not sure if they did the same with the other persons but absolutely no courtesy ,or manners in forewarning that they had put other people before us, nor to even bother letting us know beforehand to cancel the appointment.!! If I were a landlord , I would like to think that an agent was working for me , not in their own interests.
Very helpful, always cheerful on phone or when you call in. All staff deal with everything.
Really recommend The Property Shop - Acle for their incredible service in helping me sell my property. Being remote from the property they helped me deal with various things that needed to be fixed at the property in order for the sale to proceed. They were also extremely proactive and kept on top of all parties to ensure that the sale proceeded swiftly. Would definitely use them again on any future sale.
I am currently purchasing a property through Property Shop, and to date have found the attitude of the staff to be professional and precise, and at the same time friendly and accommodating. The company's attitude towards avoiding "gazumping" is to be highly praised, and is most refreshing in this current climate. Well done!
Not recommended. Their valuations are wildly high. Their descriptions are inaccurate. One property: Fully double glazed with UPVC - not the case, one window was wood framed with secondary glazing Laminate flooring in kitchen and conservatory - it was vinyl flooring Floor plan totally inaccurate - shows corridor from front porch between the lounge and bedrooms, actually opens into lounge. Window to back bedroom shows on outside wall, actually opens and looks into conservatory The "video" which accompanied the online description was laughable! It was the same picture of each room as the photo, just a zoom in and back out ! The owners were not local so Property Shop looking after and monitoring viewing Advertised as gas central heating, they had no idea where the boiler was Outside buildings not locked, so, an item in the garage which was promised to me mysteriously "disappeared". Owners confirmed they hadn't removed it. Property Shop ignored 3 emails to them about it. Makes me wonder why. Guilt? The item has to have been stolen, it was valuable, the garage wasn't locked and neither was the gate, allowing access. A consolation is that there is now another Estate Agent in the village, a CHOICE.
