    Very friendly and welcoming experience when dropping off my car. I only needed a basic ad blue refill but he went beyond and discovered I was low on oil (very low) so I asked him if he could top up there and then which he did happily. I need a timing chain change and intend to ask him to do it for me. Top bloke I think. Update: Timing chain done and again he didn't disappoint. Update 2: DFT blockage and needed urgent attention. Guess what, he did it again. Absolutely brilliant. I will only use Martin as he is honest, fair and great value for money. You want the job done properly, take it to him.

    Very highly recommend!!! Martin was recommended to me by my usual mechanic who unfortunately had no availability for my urgent clutch replacement. Martin arranged the recovery service to get my car to his premises within hours! He explained that he could look at my car that afternoon and order the necessary parts, but realistically wouldn’t be able to start working on it until 2 days later. I was so surprised and very happy when I got a call from Martin the very next afternoon telling me that my car was ready for collection!! Excellent and very prompt service, friendly and professional, very competitive price! What’s not to like!

    Went to Martin following a family recommendation. Car went in for a timing belt change but as well as doing that Martin fixed a sensor issue and noticed a wiring problem caused by a poor engine cover design and fixed that too, thereby preventing a costly and inconvenient breakdown.     Martin's Autos - Seemed to judge me well as he didn't just explain the problems when we were under the car, he actually worked with me and enlisted me to help with some of the work... Fine by me, I hired him because I don't have the equipment to do it myself but I'm happy to get my hands dirty. The initial estimate through a third party website was ok, but the work required was different (I did some of it myself, and required a couple of extra jobs) - the total price actually came down to less than I expected. I'm responsible for the work on 4 family-owned vehicles at the mo - whatever I can't do myself will be going to Martin so even if he priced my work low, there's plenty more to come!
