I have been taking my TD5 Defender to BME now for quite some years as I have full trust in them to make sure my vehicle is always in good condition and reliable. Brandon has ensured my vehicle has been expedition ready for numerous trips to include Morocco twice Corsica and throughout Europe to which I have the confidence in knowing my trips will be mechanically trouble free.
Brandon is an absolute genius and genuinely one of the nicest people you will ever meet. On numerous occasions he has got me out of trouble and has even given me advice over the phone in so much detail I have been able to get myself home again and I haven’t a clue about anything to do with engines! I even broke down in Manchester once and refused to let anyone except him touch it and he was over 150miles away! Highly recommend BME.
My hire Defenders spend much of their time in the The Lake District or Scotland so my customers rely on me to provide vehicles that can handle whatever adventure they throw at them. In turn, I rely totally on Brandon and his team to look after the servicing of the vehicles. Suffice to say that they've never missed a beat.
Excellent service. Having oil dilution issues on my RRS diesel all the local dealer did was replace the oil and filter under warranty. Now the vehicle is out of warranty and the dealer could not fit me in very quickly i booked it in here instead and the guys at this garage took the time to explain why the issue was happening and how I could improve the situation. Why Land Rover hadn't bothered to do that as it would have saved them the cost of so many oil and filter changes under warranty. A cynic might suggest they are hoping to capitalise once out of warranty. If you want knowledgeable and helpful service at a reasonable price then worth travelling a reasonable distance in my opinion.
