I live 150 miles away but, inexplicably, have been here 3 times in the last few weeks. What a find this was. The breakfasts are amazing, the staff are efficient and attentive, and the atmosphere is fab. I will pop in tomorrow to pick some pasties up before heading down south again. If you're reading reviews to determine whether to pop in, stop reading now and just go there, you'll love it

Great place for a stop when out on the bikes. The food is improving every week with new ideas. The staff are welcoming and like to take pictures of visitors on their bikes to put on facebook etc. Look forward to my next visit there.

The new owners have only been here a matter of weeks and are hard at work updating and transforming the place. It's lovely inside, with half a dozen tables, and has a small outdoor eating area with spectacular views across the hills. The cakes are locally-baked and delicious, the coffee is from an excellent roastery in Buxton (you can buy some of their coffee here too!) and the cooked breakfasts looked great. Don't expect "stores" though - there are a very few basics such as milk but little else, nothing fresh aside from eggs. It's now best viewed as a cafe, which it excels at.

Came here on our honeymoon in the Peaks. It's new management and they couldn't be lovelier. Not only was it a warm and welcoming place, the food was grand and we got free cakes as a gift (and a local Flash Brewery ale too!) from the owner. Thanks so much for having us, I'd highly recommend a pop in for lunch with a view. Also dog friendly! Big plus for us. Thanks!

The food was unreal, soooo tasty and very well made. The pancakes were fluffy, bacon was crispy, but where this place shines is the desserts. The triple chocolate flapjack and biscoff sponge cake were amazing. The coffee here was also good quality. For a small place, it was bustling with life from opening time which was lovely to see. If you're in the area defo stop by and get some food and/or coffee, you won't regret it!!

Proper quality food in a really nice cosy feeling shop. The Peak Pasty was a whopper! Kept me feeling warm for hours on the bike and totally stuffed, but in the warming happy and content way! Will certainly be stopping back off when out on the bike again. Great coffee too!

A marvellous place - food, service and views all top notch. Quality local produce served by friendly staff. Breakfast, sausage rolls, cakes, coffee all great, so safe to assume everything else is too.

Great café and general store offering a good variety of food at a reasonable price. On a fairly busy road but the traffic doesn't spoil the experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Always a warm welcome, whether you're on 2 wheels, four wheels or in walking boots! Great selection of savouries and cakes, plus great coffee. And the 360° views are fantastic...!
