   Another visit to this lovely tea room, cakes etc delicious, tasty ploughmans, soup and sandwiches, tea is loose leaf proper tea, service with a smile always good. Very popular so you may have to wait for a table or book in advance.

   I am Canadian and Loved this hidden gem. Just what we were looking for. A proper tea/coffee room with local foods; chutney,cheeses, breads. LOVED the ploughmans lunch and Stilton cheese quiche. My husband and I shared our meals. They also sell the chutneys and spreads, which we will be going back to buy so we can bring them back to Canada with us.

   This is a hidden gem of a tea room, the atmosphere and decor is just what a tea room should be. Havent seen anything quite like it before. The food is delicious in every way. The leek and potatoe soup was probably the best i've ever tasted. The staff were very pleasant and made you feel very welcome. Everything was spotlessley clean. The tea was served in lovely china, with tea leaves not tea bags, lovely. We will come again. Call in you will not be disappointed, if you can find it, it is a secret after all!!

   Hosted my daughter in law's baby shower here on the 6th November 2022. We arrived early to put up decorations - nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful afternoon, the food was absolutely delicious especially the scones, and very plentiful, we all took home "doggy bag" . Many Many thanks again for a very enjoyable afternoon .

   Visited on many occasions,before, always excellent service.. booked a table for afternoon tea at £12 each for myself& daughter we specified what we wanted, could not fault it in any way. Fresh selection of sandwiches, cakes to die for and as for the scones definitely home made with fresh cream&jam. Lovely friendly ladies to serve our every whim! It was my daughters b/day and we were given a cake box to take bk with us as just couldnt eat it all. I shall be visiting again soon! :)
