   “Five years empty in the heart of Congleton — can the locals tell me why?” Full review text: Hello, I am the landlord of the property opposite Costa Coffee at 1 Bridge Street, Congleton, CW12 1AY. I invested in this property around five years ago, yet it has remained empty all this time. This is a prime location in the town centre, next to thriving businesses like Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, and the Post Office. With all this footfall, it’s puzzling that this space has stayed vacant for so long. I’d love to hear from the local community: why do you think this property hasn’t been let yet? Are there challenges or factors I might not be aware of? Your insight would be very helpful to someone who isn’t local but cares about the town’s vitality.    Came with a group of friends and were treated like delinquents. I expect the same treatment as a paying customer would. Staff were impatient as I tried to get everyone’s order and were rude when I finally placed my order. I payed a lot of money for the food and drinks (that weren’t even good quality) I purchased and so I don’t expect me and my friends to treated like a group of rowdy teens. We were quiet and respectful and were just looking for somewhere to stay warm and have a drink. It’s appalling. And to my horror it was the store manger encouraging this behaviour. Next time my money will be spent somewhere better. You think a company held in such high regard as Costa would have their staff trained better.

   When in Congleton it is an absolute certainty that we visit this particular Costa. The staff are lovely, They can make a dull day so much brighter. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is swift. I thoroughly recommend this Costa shop.

   Heard of a deal on the radio the day prior to my visit.As a regular customer i thought i would sample my 'free treat' as advertised ..which is awarded with a hot drink purchase which i would be purchasing for my partner anyhow.Sadly the staff knew nothing of the offer,nor did they investigate and simply remained very unhelpful and appeared un-interested.Eventually they admitted the offer did exist but never offered the points on my card,nor gave me a receipt so i clearly see it run by poorly trained kids.

   Drinks were what you would expect. Staff were friendly. But the inside is very drap and echoey!! I really couldn't wait to get back outside. It also smelled quite musty. Definitely needs an update or fresh coat of paint.

   It’s alright but constantly out of the breakfast rolls on Uber eats which is super annoying. They either need to keep the app updated or get their stock sorted out really. I write this at 7am on a Friday after checking and seeing ‘sold out’ (same as every time I check) again
