Doesn't open until 11am on a Sunday yet says 8.30am. Damn shame as I cycled up a really big bank with hopes of fresh coffee at the top, I had to settle for Greggs machine made coffee. Lol
The coffee is always abnormally strong but it’s a good cafe on campus to work and read at.
I just hate it when people lie to me thinking they're making a fool of me! I ask for a fruit cooler, woman turns around and looks at the cleaned out mixers, turns back to me and says: 'Sorry, chuck, we've run out of ice for the day!'. Nothing to do with the fact it was 4.20pm, 10 mins to closing time (even though their opening times sign says 5.30pm!!). So when I challenge her 'you have no ice?', the other woman goes 'it's been a hot day', on a 20°C dead university campus day. Why can't you just be honest and explain you've already cleared up for the day and don't want to clean another mixer?? You're the fools!!
Orders a takeaway latte during an open day event at Keele university and it was the worst coffee I have ever tasted. I don't know how they messed it up but they successfully did.,The member of staff was not interested and in a moody grump. If it wasn't for the fact I was half way down the road when I tasted it, I would have sent it back.

Keele Costa is super pricey and the fact that they do not accept payments via the keele card is just sad. I don't understand why they can't put this method of payment in place like the costcutters across the road from them.
Nice little costa coffee. Great for those looking to work. Power sockets at most tables. Could do with a little more space / more tables as can be popular at times.
Review of Costa only: Snotty service. Very short with us when we ordered coffees. We arrived at 4:30 to drink in, but were told we had to have takeaway cups and not mugs because the dishwasher was on! Our drinks were dumped at the end of the counter and the server (a young girl with straight dark hair) just said “drinks are here” in a very snotty tone. Only reason this place does not get one-star is because the coffee is good. Blackwells bookshop is great. Lovely staff.

Good sampling of academic and fiction texts. Stock and styling very comparable to a small Waterstones.
