One employee kicked me and my associates out of the establishment because he was supposedly "losing customers" from the lack of free seating. This was incredibly distressing to me as I was also a paying customer who was enjoying a coffee in peace until this guy started yapping. Never going here again.
Got kicked out for sitting at a table...after buying a drink. The guy was very passive aggressively whining at us that he was losing customers, then when we got up, there was noone waiting. He stood watching to make sure we left, as if we weren't going to after we'd stood up.
Don't usually do reviews for costas and other coffee shops but this one really deserves a positive review! I came here with a friend and i was met with such good customer service!! I didn't see his name tag but the man who was taking the orders was really nice and i felt really at ease ordering and i didn't feel rushed which was such a breather because i had horrible customer service on the bus ride into Newcastle (bus route 9 d&g) so to enter a coffee shop and be met with tye customer service as good as it was, was such a lovely breather and released the tension i had from the bus journey. Thank you to the man who took our orders for being so nice and providing such a positive experience for ordering, you deserve a raise x
My favorite coffee place in Newcastle-under-Lyme high Street. They make the best mocha! I highly recommend
I really liked this place. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I liked to try new things. Today I ordered berry tea. I like to drink it from a glass to see the beautiful color of the tea. Unfortunately, I have got a very dirty glass. I thought the ladies just didn't notice. It happens. I asked to change my glass for another one. But for some reason the lady gave me an ordinary cup. I still thanked and went to my table. And how surprised I was when the cup also turned out to be dirty. Then I thought that maybe it has such a color from old age and I poured some tea into it. The cup immediately turned pure white from the hot tea. I didn't drink tea from a cup and went to ask for an ordinary paper cup. The lady barista looked at me with surprise. I went to my first day in college with a bad mood. I hope that this situation happened by accident. But I will not visit this cafe any more. Very sad.
Costa Coffee is a great coffee chain that offers good reliable coffee across the country! In my experience, most if not all of their food is either covered behind glass or wrapped in cellophane covers. This is a massive plus point especially when compared to some other competitors that often have cakes within the area one in the queue may cough over. The seats are usually comfortable and the food is consistent and of an acceptable quality for the price paid.
Quick service, lovely lady working the late afternoon of Janurary 13th (5pm). My son threw his dummy and straight away she came over and offered a cup of boiling water to for me to put his dummy in re-sterilise it after it being on the floor. It's staff like this that gives you a positive experience and makes you want to come back. Credit to the coffee shop she is!
Popped in for a coffee. Quick rain downpour so lots of people came in at the same time. Quick service, Costa coffee. Nice friendly staff
Pleasant enough but they were making espresso and wasting half every time.
