They stopped serving Jack Daniel’s for some reason. Such a shame. Our group used to really enjoy coming to bod. We have to go elsewhere now as that’s what we like to drink. Staff are all lovely and atmosphere good. Strange they would stop serving such a bar staple ☹️

After a stressful morning, I met my sister here for lunch with my two month old baby. The food was lovely, but I have to praise the service most of all! After my sister left I decided to stay for a while on my own as my baby was asleep on me .The waitress on shift kept checking in on me, let me order extra drinks and pay at the table so I didn’t have to move. She was also careful and quiet when clearing mine and nearby tables due to the fact that my baby was asleep. I’m not sure of the lady’s name but she had red hair, thank you for being so accommodating to a new first-time mum. And well done Bod for having accessible baby changing facilities and easy access ramp.

This place a lovely little bar on a pub crawl iv been in several times. The food is over priced for what u get as there only small nibbles. The beers selection is okay. And the service has been a bit lasp. But remember this is just my opinion, there could be several good things

Went for coffee and really liked the place. Staff were very friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere. Will go again at night to see what it's like then.

Great food and staff. I had poached eggs on black pudding on an English muffin. Can't stop thinking about it!

In between a long walk with our dogs, we stopped in for a drink and snacks. It was fab, really well presented and a warm reception from the staff. Would recommend if anyone fancies it and the decor was bespoke and attractive..!! Will be popping in again, soon..

I've called in a couple of times for breakfast now and my experience does contrast with some of the reviews on here, which I can only put down to initial teething issues. On both occasions my breakfast was delicious and well-cooked, particularly the scrambled egg, which can be an easy thing to get wrong. The sausages, in particular, are good quality and tasty. The coffees I purchased were reasonably priced and had a pleasant flavour. Service was relatively swift, and the staff I encountered were helpful and polite. The building itself was clean and airy, and there was a nice ambience.

Lovley place, really well decorated, food wait was 25mins. Average bill for 2 people £23. Felt warm and inviting, very modern. Only constructive criticism is the staff were not very smiley and happy, they are still getting on there feet so hopefully they will encorporate this for future.

Not awful, but not great. Visited last night for drinks, and this morning for breakfast. Last night was nice - there's a great atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced and felt very clean/tidy. Service was a little slow, but that's to be expected. This morning however, asked for an English Breakfast to be told there's no sausages for another hour, so we'd have to either have more bacon or black pudding. Fine, it's likely the delivery hadn't come yet. We then ordered milkshakes, to be told there's no straws, but we could have a spoon instead. Not sure how they can serve milkshakes with no straws. Won't be returning for food, but will return for an evening for drinks.
