Serene atmosphere, comfortable enough for a talk and a brew. The beverages are excellent, kudos to the barista.
Sunday afternoon Cake and Coffee break at Crewe's premier Coffee Shop Rhode Island. Free WiFi, indoor and outdoor seating, Service is always excellent by the extremely friendly staff. Coffee is great my personal opinion head and shoulders above other high street brands. Sunday afternoon seems to be not so busy so easier to getting seating. Aesthetically pleasing decor. Transports you back to your favourite childhood library in the corner of the town. The staff are friendly and prepare your coffee well. I would recommend having a matcha on the menu. The food was disappointing. Bland sandwiches with not much filling & carrot cake was dry. However, the staff prepared it well and warmed the sandwiches for us.
Probably the best coffee house in Crewe town centre. Coffee is excellent as are the selector hot and cold snacks. Add to that the cakes and sweet treats and you've got a really good food and drink offering. The atmosphere chilled and relaxed with more gentle background music. No banging pop or rock tunes here. There's even a library and reading area where you can sit and sip away to your heart's content. This place has a very sophisticated upmarket feel usually found in much larger towns or cities. The staff are always polite and friendly and deliver a mean coffee of your choosing.
Ordered a Decaffeinated Tea and asked if i could have two teabags as i do not like Weak Tea. I was charged £5.50 for my Mug of Tea. Rip Off Rhode.
Lovely quirky little coffee shop, it's a bit cramped if you have a pushchair but the service and coffees are lovely
Love going to have coffee and scrumptious eats at Rhode Island where the atmosphere is cosy, warm and friendly and I can swap a book to read in the library - what more can you ask!
Honestly such a nice place to get a coffee and a bite to eat whilst you're out. Staff are really friendly, the place is very clean and tidy and the coffee is beautiful. The tables are all set out in a covid friendly manner and nobody is sitting too close together.
First time we've been in here since it opened. Fantastic shop, clean and friendly atmosphere and great drinks. Will definitely be back. Really hope this stays through the Crewe town centre development as it is brilliant to see new businesses wanting to come here. Thanks!
