My first appointment with Cedar rd Dental practice. Very welcoming reception. The dentist was very thorough and caring! Explained all the possibilities of treatments for my needs. It is nice to feel confident in a dentist for a change. I'm happy so far!
Excellent patient care. Zain is friendly, caring, professional and always willing to help. He reassures you in a calming manner, providing solutions. He doesn’t rush and takes his time to deliver the best care for you. I’d highly recommend him.
Had my usual six-month checkup today at Cedar Road dental practice have been there for a long long time. My appointment is with Andrew. He’s very patient with me as I am quite scared of the dentist. He reassures me every time would highly recommend brilliant service very clean very efficient very polite thank you once again for making me feel safe I’m talking me through the process the whole time
Took my elderly Mum for a check up. Reception staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. We had a bit of a wait but reception did explain he was running late so all good. The dentist himself is also very nice, welcoming and puts you at ease. Just wish I could get in here too! No spaces at the moment!
After being a patient for 35 years I was told I had been struck off due to not attending for 2 years. They cancelled my last booking as the dentist was on holiday (granted, I didn’t get around to rebooking immediately after) and we had covid to play with so I thought that was harsh. When I questioned why I wasn’t informed prior so I could make a booking before the action was taken, I was told by the receptionist ‘that there was a poster in the window!’
Been at this place for around 20years (Since it first opened) Sadly I have watched its deterioration to what it is now. Recently had to go to another dentist to have there work corrected. The dentist commented on how poor there work was. Check up constantly cancelled last minuet by text. We have a child with Special Needs that has been spoken to appallingly and we have had to make formal complaints. Very poor and will be looking to love on in the new year.
Edit: on my latest appointment the doctor took time to go through all the payments with me and worked out how much each has costed. I hope it will stay clear in the future. Unfortunately very unclear pricing policy, with double charging for the same procedure, which has happened to me more that once. I have paid upfront only to be told I'm still owing them more and my credit was used for previous treatment, which has already been paid for too. All very convoluted, so I'm not able to keep a track of what I have to pay and how much.
Called today to make an appointment was told I’m am no longer a patient as I did not turn up to an appointment! Said appointment I waited 4 months for. Apparently they did not get my message, from previous messages left they are not ever answered. Also over charged twice! told I owed money, at the time I always paid cash. Same happened to my partner.. 40 minute wait on the phone. Dentist always running late when they go to lunch.
I'm so appalled with this surgerys lack of understanding to people with hidden disabilities it's disgusting. Just because you have a child who has behavioural issues doesn't mean that the receptionist Katrina should speak to you with disgust. I have on occasions been late around 5-10 minutes but have been very apologetic. But to say it doesn't look like there's anything wrong is ludicrous, as not everyone who has a disability visually looks like they have one.
