Such a pleasant place to come too for a pint, as the duck pond and surroundings are relaxing and you can get a coffee/sandwich from the cafe next door!
Lovely place. Quirky. Very very busy and popular. 20 mins standing queue for bar. 10 min to get a lemonade in the tea room. Nearly everything was sold old. I'm glad it's busy but maybe it needs more staff ?
The most beautiful pub in the area, with a cafe open next door aswell. Excellent beer and excellent food
Lovely idyllic spot on such a lovely day. So pleased yo have this pub in walking distance. The Rookery was excellent lovely coffee and excellent cooked jacket potatoes , tuna and salad . Helped to break our one and a half hour walk . Will be back xxx
Lovely Pub And Cafe. They do great events on the car park from music to cars. The prices are great for the coffee, cake from the cafe and the sasauge baps from the pub. Brilliant area they have a huge pond with a variety of ducks and fish. And benchs and tables all around, so plenty of sitting outside and in to enjoy your beverages.
Love the Boar inn it's a in a fantastic location. Love the fact that you can use this beautiful pub or the lovely cafe for coffee and of course cake. Children love it here too as they love feeding the ducks and fish.
