Mainly classic pub dishes with some interesting specials. Everything we had was just done so well - couldn’t fault it. The staff were nice and the service prompt. Wine and hand pumped beer also great. There was even a live greyhound in the bar. We were staying on the Caravan and Motorhome Club 5-van site run by the pub just behind. A pleasant spot overlooking fields. Thanks everyone!

Really friendly staff, dog friendly. Home cooked food. I had the steak pie and my wife the lasagne. Really tasty with proper veg. Good portions. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

We booked for my birthday meal just me and my partner. The food was amazing. We had the soup for starters and it was the best we have ever had came with thick bread. For mains we had the steak and the chicken burger it was again amazing food. We were the only people in the restaurant area but we were served very quick and the staff were very accommodating.

Fantastic family lunch (birthday celebration) at the Greyhound Inn today. We booked for 8 adults, one toddler and a small dog and it was lovely to see a full dog bowl with two dog biscuits set out next to our table. We had a delicious meal with superb attentive and friendly service where nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Zoe and all the team for making this such a memorable occasion. The birthday 'boy' (71 year-old brother-in-law who was visiting from Italy said he had a fantastic birthday!! Highly recommended and we will be back soon!!

Love this place for a lunchtime sandwich and drink treat, when I need a break from work. Family run business, with home from home atmosphere and cooking.

Lovely pub, very rustic. Table of 4 we shared a couple of starters, which were nice and tasty (poached pear / halloumi), if not touch pricey. mains. I had steak pie (pictured.) cooked well with plenty of tender meat. My partner had sea food linguine, which she said was lovely. The other two meals escape me, but in general, it was a great night, and would definitely eat there again.

Such a long time since we've visited this beautiful country pub. On a Thursday afternoon I have to be honest I thought it would be quiet inside. So wrong! The place was packed! Loads of people eating in the main restaurant and bar area. Pub had a lovely atmosphere and the serving staff were friendly and engaging. We sat outside with two mucky dogs but we were invited in, so appears dog friendly. The large amount of customers and short serving period excuses the slight delay for the food to arrive but it was well worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended and will be returning again soon.

You could almost miss this cracking little pub, it's tucked away on the A51 and well worth a brief detour. Reasonably priced with a good range of ales and a choice of restaurant or casual seating. We stopped off for lunch and had a very nicer burger and chef's special steak and ale pie. Staff were really friendly and service was good. Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit following a recommendation and we were not disappointed. We were looked after by the lovely Zoe, who went out of her way to help. I really wanted Lamb but it was not on the Sunday menu, however Zoe saw ghe chef and I was served with a gorgeous Lamb Rump! Thank you so much.
