Well had the best little Christmas do here tonight. Amazing mix of traditional and Christmas tapas. Very reasonable and so tasty. Great friendly smiling service
Classic British pub; cosy with plenty of charm. The team are amazing and the food was delicious - you definitely won’t leave hungry. Clearly the regulars love it too. Plenty of real ales on too which is great to see. Cracking beer garden out back. Will definitely be back to see the Bands out there in Summer.
A rather splendid Sunday lunch. Special group price of 15/head gave us food to die for and more if we needed it. Hot, tasty, nicely cooked and served with the biggest of smiles. Excellent.
Fab stopover in our VW in their car park. Highly recommend - our best stopover so far - access to toilets 24 hours and access to water tap. Need to book table in advance as this pub is definitely on the up. Packed out on a Thursday evening and hugely popular with locals supporting the new owners. Very hardworking friendly staff, good food including vegan option - the steak and ale pie was gorgeous and good value at £15. Lovely garden - lots of seating some under cover, kids and dog-friendly (dog treats available) and lovely location.

Went for a group Christmas set meal mid December. Three course. There were 18 of us and the meal was well organized and served on time, friendly and attentive waiters. The food was delicious. Really enjoyed it. What more can be said we all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back.
Called in for a meal with 15 others after a walk around Teggs Nose country park. We had booked and were very well looked after. Great place
Bought £30 of food. Finished my drink whilst waiting for the food (over 20 minutes) and tried to buy a further drink at the bar - told they can't accept card payments under £5 after she poured my drink. Pointed out we where waiting for food but didn't care less. Safe to say not the most impressed with avoid and drive on to leather smithy. Food was average at best and with poor service Avoid.
