   Great pub fab atmosphere 5 stars New landladies running the Globe now always a good atmosphere great Saturday night fun, bingo on a Thursday plus other entertainment. Dog / pet friendly with treats and fresh water always available.

   My Gran used this pub for 80yrs, we often drank there with her. We visited today for a drink and were quite pleased to see that it is a bright and modernised pub now. They have not overly done it up, its still a down to earth pub. The staff are very friendly, the pub was spotlessly clean. The beer was crystal clear. We had Oat cakes, sausage and cheese and a Cheese Ploughman's baguette to go with our drinks, all were very good and filling. If you want an old fashioned, down to earth, quiet pub this is perfect.

   Called in first time in over 25 years Sat, it's still first class, great real pub as it always was , bar snacks ,Rolls, Not that smell of a restaurant that I hate , the Bass was perfectly kept and I can't fault it one bit ,great smoking area sheltered. Top boozer , thx guys ....

   I haven't been in this pub for years, I finished work today at half past two today and took my mate up for a few beers before he went out with his partner.. I have never felt so welcome in a pub, the man who was behind the bar could not do enough for you and he was a right laugh. Would recommend this pub for the lads absolutely!
