Wasn’t expecting much for £10.00 Wasn’t disappointed. Very average food, always wonder about a meal that comes out so piping hot you have to wait a while to eat it. Staff more interested serving locals. Nice outdoor area, but that’s about it.
Only nipped in for a quick cider yesterday after getting stuck out for the night. (Lorry driver) Reasonable prices food wasnt on so can't rate. Atmosphere was good, spoke to a few of the locals while I was there. Bar staff polite and helpful.
Lovely country pub , really pleasant staff and a welcome atmosphere inside, I stopped in for a refreshing drink on a ride out .Will call in again next time I'm in the area , highly recommended.
Excellent food and top notch pub management. Very friendly and welcoming. The menu is pub food, no pretences, just good, honest traditional food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The landlady was very welcoming on arrival and made us feel like we were special. Would definitely visit again.
As we had a disabled person with us it was good to have such friendly and helpful staff. Will hopefully visit again.

My partner and I went for a Sunday dinner and the only option available was beef which suited us just fine. We ate outside in the covered area and enjoyed a relaxing pint and dinner in very relaxed surroundings. The landlady and waitress were very friendly and professional and we received a warm welcome. We'll recommended!!
