   Great warm and welcoming pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they make you feel very welcome. We booked the festive 3 course menu and every course was exceptional and tasty. We will certainly be coming back to the Broughton Arms again, and would have no hesitation in recommending the pub to anyone looking for great food in warm cosy surroundings and friendly staff.

   First time visiting the Broughton Arms, I had received a food and drink discount voucher through the post so thought I'd give it a try. There was 5 of us all together and we all really enjoyed our experience and all agreed we would return. The pub had a lovely welcoming atmosphere and was surprisingly busy for a mid week visit which all added to the ambience. Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was better than perhaps we had anticipated and due to the time of year the pub was festively decorated. It was just a lovely vibe and I can imagine it would be great in summer due to the large beer garden and canal setting.

   We stopped over at Broughton Arms to break our journey from the Lake District. The staff were really friendly, the building warm and welcoming and the food selection amazing and great value. It is so refreshing to see sharer plates on a menu, and is always a favourite of ours. The locals equally made us at home, which is much appreciated. And of course the setting on the canal is outstanding. Thanks for a great evening!

   We arrived mid afternoon in our Motorhome with plans to eat in the pub and stay in the car park overnight. The staff were very accommodating and said it was no problem for us to do this. We had a light lunch and drinks in the afternoon then returned in the evening for dinner at a table I had booked a few days prior to our visit. The food was fantastic and the service was first class. Will definitely return if in the area again

   I visited the pub to meet up with some friends who were staying overnight in their camper vans. Pleasant location, excellent outside seating if my visit had been in the summer. I had an excellent meal : steak pie, with chips and peas and then toffee waffle. The food was excellent. The bar staff and waiting on staff were efficient, good humoured and helped make the evening a very enjoyable evening. Definitely a place I would be happy to come back to whether with family or with a group of friends.

   The pub has a very relaxed and homely feel to it. Lots to choose from on the menu. We really enjoyed the mains as it was hot and tasty just how we like it and we were able to make slight changes from chips to mash which wasnt a problem . The sweets we both had were amazing and clean plates / dishes says it all .The staff were very chatty and friendly and we will certainly be calling in again soon ....We have already recommend to friends and family that its a must visit ! Thank you for making us feel so very welcome ..

   Visited a couple of times previously, sat outside with the dogs, lovely next to the canal. Went today for a late dinner, had the bbq Chicken, Bacon and Cheese baguette served with chips. Excellent food for the price. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will return.
