Breakfast was below par and it wasnβt even busy. The hashbrowns looked like theyβd seen better days my breakfast butty was barely luke warm but edible. Mumβs poached eggs on toast wasnβt much better both this and the hash browns were sent back to the kitchen. Second around wasnβt much better I rarely ever send something back to the kitchen. Highly recommend the spoons in Leominster much much better food there than this one

following a very disappointing visit to one of your pubs on Christmas Eve, immediately after attending a childrenβs pantomime When we arrived, the pub was almost empty. Despite this, within the first ten minutes we experienced repeated and unnecessary interventions from staff that made us feel extremely unwelcome. In particular the pub manager. Firstly, the children were told not to sit on the stairs, which we immediately complied with. Shortly afterwards, they were told they could not use a small light-up toy they had been given at the pantomime, despite it causing no disruption and the pub being virtually empty. The situation then escalated further when security staff approached our table to question the age of one of the children who was drinking a cola. This was embarrassing, excessive, and completely inappropriate given the context. The overall manner of the duty manager was particularly disappointing. He lacked basic interpersonal and communication skills and did not demonstrate the professionalism or leadership qualities expected of someone in a managerial role. His approach was jobsworth-like, devoid of warmth or understanding, and entirely lacking any Christmas spirit. Rather than feeling welcomed as paying customers with children, we were made to feel scrutinised and unwanted. It is hardly surprising that the pub was empty if this is how families are treated, especially during what should be a festive and inclusive time of year. Another family was also treated in the same manor and also left! I felt it was important to raise this feedback as the experience fell far below what I would expect from a well-known national chain, and I would hope it is addressed to prevent similar situations for other families in the future.

Not bad. Love the building, design and vibe inside, it's historical and cozy. It was not crowded when we went in and there are loads of seating. Service was quick and friendly. Clean inside as compared to other weatherspoons I've been in. Can't comment on the rest as it's the same as other weatherspoons.

Have been to the establishment a few times over the last couple months and the one good thing about it is that they usually had a nice array of real ales. The food is adequate, shy on quantity but ok to compliment the beer. The security staff spend most of there time either standing at the bar talking to bar staff or on their mobiles, not sure what they are offering to the organisation. If you get a booth or raised area it is OK, if downstairs there is a good chance you will get knocked by the small children running about. The staff on each of my last 5 visits have been extremely polite and can pull a proper pint. Please look after them they are a credit

It's Spoons. Cheap food and drinks. Not always the best. Mash potato was very poor but the fish and chip fine.

The food was actually nice for cheap pub grub. Unfortunately the place was filthy. The waitress started to clear one table and knew we was stood waiting for it and then didn't come back to finish removing the rest or wiping it down! So we had to do it and then use our own hand sanitiser to clean the table! Other than that it's cheap and cheerful. Easy to order from the app and both drinks and food arrived quickly.

Food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick, staff friendly. The only minus was the tables were quite dirty.

This is my favourite but today the food was disgusting. Eggs were well over cooked and the ham was dry as a bone. Think Mr wheatherspoons needs to evaluate the chef. Chips were fine though but that's it sadly.

Classic English pub, very tasty cider with strawberry and lime. Clean, lots of space, you can build football, friendly staff.
