First time visit, first time owner of a very large dog. The guy in the shop was really friendly and patient with me, answered all my questions. I left really happy that I'd found this shop. A proper shop, not impersonal like some pet supermarkets, a real proper shop. Sorry it's just the 5 stars, but that's all there are.
For a small independent pet store it actually isn't that bad.. Found place to feel nice and attractive as a place to shop, but then found the price of what I wanted to be considerably more expensive. Had spent ages hunting for a harness for the dog and found it here but about 75% more expensive.. Next time I'll pop by for some treats as they seem about right price wise

An amazing variety of foods, treats and more at awesome prices. My boy loves Lily’s kitchen wet food and The Pet Store stocks an amazing variety of flavours that I have not found anywhere else! The lovely works inside is so helpful and it’s always kind enough to give my pup a couple treats every time he visits! Xx
Having to unfortunately give this a one star,due to arriving to have my dog groomed and finding out that the person I booked him in with had not booked him in at all!! Travelled quite a distance for nothing.Will not be returning. If you do decide to have your pet groomed here please double check the booking before you arrive.
Why go to a multiple when there's something like this locally? Greg & Company will advise knowledgeably, and bend over backwards to help, getting to know you and your pets. The prices are even pretty keen too. Highly recommended.
Greg and his staff are incredibly welcoming to anybody that goes into the store. Animals are welcomed and offered treats, with owners permission of course! Service is given with a smile and advice always at hand. Lily guards the shop with Yogi learing the ropes! Its a shame there isn't a coffee on offer. This store really makes local shopping worth it, Greg knows his customers and stocks a wide range of goods, and if he hasn't got it in stock he is willing to do his best to locate what is needed and order it in - in my experience customer satisfication is guaranteed!
