We were sent by our own vet for urgent medical attention for our border ollie. We were met by an amazing dedicated team, who immediately took ollie into the examination room and suggested that he stay there the night for tests and keeping an eye on. We were phoned the next morning and advised that all was well and ollie had improved and ready to come home. It seems ollie was a hit with all staff they certainly were with us. There professionalism was beyond reproach and we have no hesitation in recommending you and your team with anyone. 5stars. Patrick Powell.

As a rat owner finding knowledgeable vets is hard work. Thankfully many years ago I had the fortune of coming across Celine at Coastways. Celine has always gone above and beyond for all my rats, always showing compassion but straight to the point regarding the best care for them. Since then my wife and I had the pleasure of having our rats being see by other vets in the exotic department. Francesca has been an incredible vet whose kindness and expertise has helped so many of our rats from diagnosis to surgery and recovery. Antigoni’s compassion has been pivotal when we needed to make difficult decisions and our rats are always spoiled when seeing her. The exotic nurses have always ensured any stays were stress free for us knowing our rats are in good hands. Their patience and care is outstanding especially when one of our rats kept eating his stitches. Across a decade they have seen 20 of our rats, and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for their care. Celine, Francesca and Antigoni and the exotic nurses are the reason why we are always so happy to travel the extra distance. For anyone who wants compassionate, knowledgeable and straight to point vets, they are the ones to see. They will always tell you the best course of action that will result in less stress for your pet and your wallet saving you from unnecessary costs and procedures. Thank you we would be lost without you.

Lovely team of receptionists and a phenomenal surgeon Chris. My dog Frodo snapped his cruciate ligament in April and then did his other leg in October. We have received the best care with 2 very successful operations with Chris that I couldn’t be more thankful for. Very happy I chose this practice to perform this. Thank you always, Amber & Frodo!

Me and my partner recently adopted 2 kittens which had a bit of a rough start health wise which has meant that we have had to call and visit several times. Coastway Brighton staff from receptionists to the vets and nurses have all been incredibly helpful, professional and friendly. We last came in yesterday for their first vaccinations and the vet we had was incredible; she was so reassuring and answered every one of my questions and made sure that we understood everything. We are so grateful for everything so far and we are so pleased and feel assured that Coastway is our vets.

The vets are great and very friendly. My only complaint is the cost. For example, Felpreva flea treatment is £55 at Coastway but you can buy it online for £36. I don't see how they can justify such a price hike. And they charge £24 to 'print' a prescription, which you need if you buy Felpreva online! It's clear they don't want you to buy online and for you to pay their inflated prices.

If I could give 100 stars I would. My dog became seriously ill just before Christmas and required 5 days hospitalisation. The team worked 24/7 to stabilise him and give him the treatment he needed that meant we could finally bring him home on Christmas Day 2022, even training us on Christmas Day so that we could tube feed him through his neck whilst at home. Despite all of the interventions he required, when we went back for follow up appointments he was actually pleased to see the vet/nursing teams (this does not happen at our 'usual' vet practice as he hates going'). Then the when our insurers initially said they would not cover his illness, the team instantly offered their ongoing support which resulted in the insurance company changing their minds and promising to pay out for our claim. The whole team are amazing and they will be our new Vets of choice as a result of the fantastic service and support received. Thoroughly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Coastway Vets. I would not hesitate to use them again! My cat received exemplary care and was treated with respect and kindness from the moment we arrived. My cat Pancake was hit by a car on Saturday. He was admitted to Coastway vets in the afternoon and stayed for five days. I was called twice, or more times, a day to update me on his condition and all of my questions were answered with patience and thought. I mainly worked with Miguel and I think he is a fantastic and kind vet. I also had a good experience with Tim, Christos and Jackie. The whole team seems great. Thanks to Coastway Pancake is on the mend and I have complete peace of mind. No question was too small to answer and I did not feel rushed in the appointments.

Amazing exotics vets. I will only take my rabbits and guinea pigs there. They are thorough in check ups and always happy to answer any queries or questions. Even though I no longer live in Brighton, I am still more than happy to travel to them as they're the only vets I trust with my pets.

Disgusting, manipulative, callous, money grabbers. Their concern is not for the welfare of your animal, but merely how much they can use your pets illness to manipulate you in order to extract as much cash as they can. Case 1 - seriously ill pet. Took far too long to correctly diagnose the problem, then when the seriousness was detected kept us hanging on with over optimistic reports creating false hope to keep us paying out just in case he pulled through. He did not. Case 2 - Consolation on second animal. With only the briefest of examinations suggested a course of test that would have potentially cost thousands. Pet now under the care of different vet who efficiently diagnosed and prescribed treatment with no tests. Pet now doing well. They are big for a reason, not because they are good vets, but because they are a ruthless money making machine.

I can not thank the coastway team enough for their love and care of my Sphynk cat Dumplin this week who was very poorly. They cared and came up with a quick emergency care plan to diagnose his illness and tend to caring for his needs to ensure he was established. they where brillant in keeping us informed with regular calls from Pedro his vet. He was all showered with so much love and attention from Sarah who was brillant in caring for him and keeping me calm when I was so upset and beside myself. thank you team coastway I really can not thank you enough.
