Professional and calming vetinary practice . A room just for cats so less likely to be stressed. Reception staff helpful too.

Worst vets I've ever been to. Phil was very rude to me and told me last time he saw me was the worst appointment he'd ever had. Also he said the total opposite of what he said to me last time he saw me about what was going on with my cat As if you say that to people that come to your practice in the hopes of a solution ! What happened to professionalism?Won't be going back ever again. He didn't seem to care at all about how he spoke to me or about making my cat even more anxious than he was, because of arguing with me . Me and the cat both left upset at the absolutely horrible experience.

One of the best vets my cats have ever been with. Such a welcoming and friendly practice, the care all the team has for animals is evident and the advice is always grounded and the treatments exceptional. We’ve moved out of the area now, and the new vets has a lot to live up to!

These vets have been amazing with all of our animals, they are a tad on the expensive side BUT that is well worth paying as you can tell they clearly care about the animals in thier care. They've been especially helpful with one of our cats who had major surgery and have answered all of our [many] concerns and questions. We especially thank all the nurses/team members who helped our cat. Highly reccomend.

Recently used this vets for keyhole spay for my dog - I wish we lived closer so they could be our everyday vet - so friendly, put me completely at ease and very good aftercare/follow up when we had some questions, thank you!

Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Gerald was great and took the time to explain the treatment needed. Both our dogs are looked after by Heathfield Vets and I highly recommend them

Kind and knowledgeable staff. Ian the vet gave my lame hen a thorough check over and gave sound advice and medication to help her get over the soft tissue issue she had suffered. I will take any of my girlies there if they need a vet in the future. Excellent service!

The knowledge of the vets here is not in doubt. However, sadly, neither is the fact that they are very clearly first and foremost a business which happens to treat animals. Two examples. 1. We were quoted £100 to make a referral to a specialist because "there's quite a lot of paperwork involved." No other vet has ever charged us anything for similar referrals. 2. They recommended that our cat have a blood pressure check. This was priced at £25 for the pressure check, and £90 for "in-patient care and nursing care." He was with them from before 9am until nearly 4pm, during which time "We didn't give him any food because we didn't know if he's on a specific diet." For £90, I would have thought a call to ask us might have been possible, or, given that they are treating him for kidney disease, perhaps some renal food?
