Absolutely fantastic, both Hailsham and Polegate branches are very clean very professional. The teams are very friendly and warm. Very caring for your pet(s), explain everything step by step as you go. Would highly recommend Highcroft to you and your pets.
I just wanted to thank the whole team at Highcroft in Hailsham. Especially Cynthia and Mick. Our little cat Rosie was quite unwell and needed their help. The receptionist's are always helpful and very professional. The communication was great & it makes a stressful situation much easier to deal with. Thankfully our little Rosie is doing very well. So thank you all so much for everything ❣️
Took our Staffordshire Bull Terrier for a health check. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were seen on time by a veterinary nurse. A full health check was completed, very caring and thorough. She listened and put our dog at ease which made the whole process easy. Thank you.
My first time at Highcroft vets yesterday and what a wonderful experience. Kelly on reception was so lovely and welcoming. Consultant was really helpful and provided everything my little dog Maggie needed. Even came away with a goodie bag for maggie, when signing up to a pet plan. Great service and lovely staff.
We got some kittens and because of the level of care provided for my dog when she was unwell, despite the incredible cost, I decided to go with Highcroft because, if nothing else, up to this point they were honest. I spoke to the reception staff and they said that if I joined their Pet Health scheme I could get inoculations and flea treatments. I was led to believe that there would be no further costs. When I arrived on time for the appointment with the kittens, I was presented with. £138 cost for a “consultation” with the vet. I was told that these consultations were per-pet and wasn’t covered on the Pet Health plan. When I saw the vet she was dismissive, didn’t care bout my experience with her, weighed the kittens and checked their pulses - which I assumed was covered under what they called “Comprehensive Health Check” under the plan. Apparently not. I was with the vet for about 15 minutes in total and for that they charged me £138 plus the cost of the initial payment for the Pet Health scheme AND a direct debit of approx £40 per month. I then looked at Trust Pilot reviews for this practice and the overwhelming view is that they charge hidden costs and are prohibitively expensive. They are not transparent about what they charge. I have put a complaint through and am still awaiting an outcome for this. I will report back with their response.
Highcroft Vets are such remarkable team. All my pets are treated so well & are know by the staff. All treatment is of high standard but it is the care before, during & after that gave me great relief & comfort. Phone updates were given & my dog’s recovery was ensured. Thank you to all the staff at Highcroft.
Such friendly staff and nice clean premises. Not had a bad experience so far and my dog is always so excited to go there, he drags me through the door!
Absolutely fantastic vets I would not trust another with my dog. It’s clear that the pets health and well-being is the most important thing. All staff are kind and caring and go above and beyond to care for the animals and owners
I’ve been bringing my pet here for 4 years. In that time he’s had 5 ear infections. Every time it cost me £150 to get a scrapping of his ear and have it tested. Then every time I’m given the same medication for £50 which cost £12 online. The last time I asked if from now on I could get a repeat prescription in the future to save needless cost. I was told yes by the vet and the receptionist. They said as long as I ring up within 6 months I can get a repeat prescription. So I did just that but surprise surprise the vet won’t allow it as he wants my dog the come in. Money grabbing at its finest. Very disappointing as it’s our local vet but I’ve already registered him elsewhere. A person is only as good as their word.
Highcroft Vets is a warm, friendly practice with excellent staff. We take all of our creatures there - big or small as we know they will get the best treatment possible. Even when you have to say goodbye to your beloved pet it is done with care and compassion all the way ❤️
