My cat stayed for 2 weeks and he seemed to have enjoyed his stay. He maintained weight, coat condition and vigor.
Our cat Poppy is a regular here. On her last stay she had a medical crisis & they quickly resolved it, taking her to the vet (at no extra charge) & sorting it all out. Their concern when I picked her up was for her welfare, not the extra effort they were put too. Genuine pet lovers - recommended.
Our cat dotty was very scared when we picked her up. We were informed that she had not been groomed or been given any of her treats we left and that she spent most of the time in her cat carrier. The place had dirty cat litter trays around. I would not recommend. It needs a good clean.
My cat went there a week ago and unlike other catterys she didn’t want to leave I had to actually pick her up and lift her into my car because she didn’t want to go at all! Great people great place.
Friendly, natural and 'nice' feeling place. They know how to care for animals and clearly love animals in general. Our pet ferret has stayed a few times and has always been well cared for. He'll be back soon.
Sam also offers a home visit service which we've used twice now. Our cat, Winnie, sings his praises every time we return home. Sam is responsive, friendly, asks lots of questions and is naturally fantastic with animals. I would highly recommend.
Our two guinea pigs stayed at Sam's Small Animal Hotel for half term week and they were very well looked after. They had plenty of room and their hutch for the week was very comfortable. Sam has excellent knowledge of small animals and knows how to look after them well. We would highly recommend this business.
