   Used this garage to fit two tyres in had bought from an online company. I booked the car in at 9am and it was taken in straight away. The car was returned at 10:20, which felt like quite a long time to wait. But the chap I dealt with was very polite and it was all stressless.

   For several years I have used this garage without issue . Even when others warned me I kept loyal and yesterday I took my car in for mot and it failed , I had a call and was told it would cost £900 I said that too expensive and would want to get the car through just mot , was told to do that would cost £491 which I agreed when I got my mot certificate it fail on major of a brake light all other work is advisory . Yes he changed the tyre and front brakes but they were advisory’s not to get me through mot will not be back and should of listened to others check your mot before agreeing to work

   Had my car MOT done at Mend a car got there a few mins early they started straight away as I was going to be waiting for it. I have to say they were very polite and friendly and it was done and I was back on my way. I will be using them next year and I recommend them to anyone.

   Had the exhaust replaced while they were carrying out some other work as they said it would fail the mot, my daughter has been smelling fumes in the car for some time but its gradually got worse so taken it to a different garage locally to where she was works on the advice of colleagues to get it checked and found the exhaust had not been sealed correctly and the brackets had come loose thankfully no harm has come to anyone in the car! I recommend using a tyre and exhaust company if you want that sort of work doing correctly!

   First time using mend your motors, really great service and very friendly staff. I waited in the comfortable and clean reception while my mot test was carried out. The time passed quickly mostly due to the nice chat with the receptionist. And on completion of the mot the mechanic explained everything to me and answered a couple of unrelated questions I had about my car. I can only thank them for a great experience today and I will not hesitate I to use them in future and to recommend to friends and family.
