I'm currently living away from home for personal reasons. Isobel kindly fitted my cockapoo Norbert in at short notice to check his bum gland, which seemed to be causing him some discomfort. She talked me through the potential cause of the problem and how to express the gland at home. She then examined Norbert's glands and they didn't need to be expressed. Isobel did not charge for her time, which was fantastic. Given her calm nature and rich experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Isobel. I plan to bring Norbert back for a groom as and when I move house this way.
So thrilled with our experience at Barker and Yapp. Isabel is so kind and gentle, I have a very nervous dog who has had some bad experiences with grooming. She had a really good time and looks lovely, not a hint of stress. Excellent value for money. Thank you so much we will be back!
My bichon frise x poodle is a very nervous dog and I was very worried that he wouldn’t handle being left with a stranger. He slept while my other dog had his hair cut and I picked them both up, both very proud of their new handsomeness. My first time with Isabel and I’ll be going back.
Absolutely wonderful experience with Isabel at Barker and Yapp. My 3 year old Cockapoo has terrible anxiety when it comes to grooming but Isabel was amazingly patient and kind, ensuring my boy was as happy and comfortable as possible. I would thoroughly recommend Isabel to all.dog lovers as her care and attention is outstanding. Bertie came away looking trim, handsome and happy to have shed the sheepskin coat he's had to wear for the last few weeks! 10/10 service!
Can’t recommend Isabel enough! We took our lurcher collie cross, Frisbee, in for a groom this morning to help her cool down in the hot weather. Frisbee is an older lady and she is usually very nervous around strangers however, she absolutely loved Isabel. Isabel is really knowledgable and has a strong focus on ensuring the dogs are comfortable (the services are also very reasonably priced). Frisbee was even a bit reluctant to leave at the end - thank you so much!
Absolutely brilliant. Isabel is so intuitive with the personality of the dog. She is so gentle and kind and really experienced. I took a dog who I was looking after and she did an amazing job and the dog was returned so happy and relaxed. She is a no-brainier. Absolutely awesome. Di Smith
Isabel is a first class dog groomer. She clearly loves dogs, has a smashing, kind way with them and they love her! She’s been grooming our cockapoo Pepper for 6 years and always does an excellent job. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
