   We should of had an appointment today. Which was cancelled with no contact to us. Our appointment had already been cancelled and rescheduled for today. But nobody contacted us. We will be looking for other groomers.

   Zoe did a wonderful job of Dougal's cut. He can be aggressive when nervous but she handled him expertly and I can honestly say it's the best cut he has ever had. A bit pricey at £55 but I have to say worth, every penny.

   Booked my dog to her nails to get cut.. there were unable to do do it. At beginning I could see through the glass my dog was unsettled and struggling, I said can you let me hold her it will be easier, the said no, as there’s two of them there, then took her through a door where I couldn’t see her. They came back and said they couldn’t do it. The excuse given was that she’s pregnant. Which I knew she couldn’t be. However i went to my vets afterwards, not the one in same building, I use a good English vet. Anyway, my dog wasn’t pregnant at all and the vet cut her nails. Was just a waste of time. The girls are very condescending and do not listen to owners. They should remember they are groomers not vets. I felt I should leave a bad review to prevent others from having same experience. Sad to read other people have had similar experiences regarding nail cutting. Rude, stuck up, substandard groomers. Live and learn. If they had let me hold her it would of been a 5 minute job that would of cost £10, ended up costing me £30 and wasting my time, I had taken the afternoon off work for appointment, so was just glad my get fitted me in with short notice that afternoon. I feel it was a case of couldn’t be bothered with the hassle and refusing to listen. Totally avoidable.

   If your dog is nervous about nail trims i do not recommend. Despite explaining that our dog was extremely nervous to have his nails touched, they were unable to do it. I payed full price for the deal with teeth cleaning which was £17. Online it states refusal to use a muzzle will result in the procedure/groom not being completed but there was no mention of using a muzzle at all. Had they warned me they were not equipt to trim a nervous dogs nails i would have simply gone else where. I have not heard back since writing to the team about this. I am not a professional in this field and i, using positive reinforcement have been able to trim his nails myself. For them to take him through for his nails, dismissing our explanation of his anxiety and fear, and to then charge full price after not being experienced in trimming anxious dogs nails, i do feel is a bit cheeky. That is not to say they are not good at what they do, im sure a bath and groom would have been great (as our dog loves a good bath and blow dry) - but for a nervous dog who will try and resist, best avoid.

   What a fabulous grooming experience for my Foster dog. I wasn't sure how he would be as he has had a very tough and abused life. I explained this when booking and they were so understanding and said they would take care of him which they did. I came back to a beautifully clean boy who clearly felt very proud of his hair and nails. I would recommend 100% thank you
