I’m extremely disappointed with the service. We booked an appointment for a double bathroom design visit after already spending time in-store creating a rough layout for each bathroom. We wanted to be sure everything would work properly before committing and spending a lot of money, so the home visit was an important part of the process. However, the appointment was cancelled just a hour before, despite booking this over a month ago. No reasonable explanation other than a different designer had been booked for the appointment and no appreciation for the fact that we’d already invested time in the design process with Wicks. VERY unprofessional and completely unreliable. If this is how the process starts, I’d hate to imagine what the rest of the experience would be like. Definitely not the level of service you’d expect when planning a major renovation. Not impressed at all. Will take my money elsewhere.

The star is for the designer… top man and even helped when we started having issues but unfortunately he could only do so much. After 13 months of trying to get a kitchen finished we still have no resolve, repeated conversations with the support and warranty teams but unfortunately go unanswered or we get washed off with some rubbish that they will contact us. Our installation manager arguing that the installation is of standard and providing measurements that differ to our installation as well as providing 2 installers that couldn’t fit kitchens properly. 2nd guy couldn’t even cut out a hole for the hob the correct size even though there was a template and caused damage to our ceiling and walls. Countless days without water and amenities with a promise of compensation but right now we’d rather have a completed kitchen. WARNING NEVER BUY A KITCHEN FROM WIKES, or if you do make sure you use your own trusted installers. I’m sure they can get it right! If you’re looking to check which I wish we would have done read some of the horror stories on social media.

Absolutely DO NOT buy a Wickes bathroom. Wickes Rushden: Design issues from a supposedly experienced designer (including but not limited to a bath the wrong way around costing me money for extra plumbing, sending me TWO, yes two, waste kits at £125 each for a single bath, which were both incorrect anyway (the actual one I needed cost £35 and was supplied separately by my fitter)), countless damaged items, missing parts from an overly-priced shower screen, countless revisits (at an additional cost to me) for the fitters to keep coming back. When I turned up at the store for a refund on the wastes, one was refunded but I was palmed off by saying they needed “a code” to refund the other one and to come back. When I came back the manager couldn’t get the code so two wasted journeys… it’s a refund for an incorrect item!!!!! I have consumer rights!!!! When I complained, they inappropriately sent my complaint directly to the person I complained about breaching the furniture and home improvement ombudsman FHIO rules on impartiality because apparently “the complaints team don’t deal with complaints”. The laugh is, three of four fitters I contacted refused to fit Wickes’s bathrooms. Stupidly, I didn’t see the light and cancel the bathroom. Lesson learned on listening to the professionals — now all four of the fitters I contacted won’t fit a wickes bathroom, as the ones I used said it’s a complete joke and they’d never do another one again... I havent listed all the issues by the way. If you’ve got this far and you’re still thinking about going ahead, more fool you! Annoyingly, their customer services team think it’s appropriate to ignore emails! Two weeks I’ve been chasing for missing parts for my £550 shower screen and they’ve ignored all my emails. Do yourself a favour, save pulling your hair out and don’t bother with wickes bathrooms. Wish I’d just chosen to bath in a puddle or a nearby river instead. What an utter disgrace the Company and the whole process has been…!

Good product range and got the timber I required. It was fairly quiet when I visited but it can get very busy.

Terrible customer service & delivery service. Ordered some fence panels a week prior to delivery date. On actual delivery date they phoned right at the end of the day and said they can't deliver. No reason given and can't even delivery the next day. Absolute useless. Because of last minute phone call there was no time to rearrange a delivery from somewhere else. Let my customer down. Lost time and money. I've used Wickes for many years. I'm never going to use them again after this.

Made an appointment for a kitchen designer. He rings 5 minutes before he was due to say he was running approx 10 minutes late. Eventually turned up 45 minutes late. Needlless to say we won't be using Wickes at Rushen.

Always using wickes for something, and I find them good value for money often cheaper than build centers for some stuff, not just a place for the diyer useful for trades too, and don't forget if your a trade/business they have a discount app that you download and show them, for further 10% off, which certainly can make a difference.

Very disappointed. Contacted the Wickes Rushden store to get a quote on a new study. 2 other companies came to do a home visit within 48 hours but Wickes wanted to do a zoom call instead a week later which isn’t much use so I requested for them to do a home visit which they accepted. The gentlemen who came to visit was nice enough and professional but he could not provide me with a CAD plan and a quote there and then (despite the other 2 companies being able to do this straight away ). I did explain I ideally need this quote asap as I don’t want to keep the other companies waiting. He booked us in for a store visit nearly 2 weeks later. Nevertheless I was prepared to wait to ensure I keep my options open to get the best possible quote. I then got a call on the day to cancel my appointment due to noise and work being completed in store but the lady promised he would send over the quote and study plan the same day. A week later and still nothing. Hence now not interested regardless of the cost and went with another company who have been fantastic throughout and deserve my business.

DO NOT USE. Absolutely appalling service. Unfinished work and trying to get support from the store and customer service was a NIGHTMARE. Lacking in honesty and integrity telling me my build was finished when is utterly false! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID (never had any issues like this with Wrenn)

Not exactly sure if I have bought the right thing Nor am I sure it will fit in the car I've bought 5 of them tho at £5 each, some of the similar looking things cost £12 each so I'm happy with my spend. The chap at the till was awesome, - not sure of his name but he seemed very much like a Kyle to me. Now I'm heading home to use my new plastic strip purchase to build my BBQ enclosure... Look out burger town - ima coming for ya
