   Just be mindful of this point regarding SIG and charging for return items. I am a member of the public, not a builder, roofer or contractor. I am carrying out repair work on my own home. I bought over £500 of goods from SIG and at no point during this sale was it pointed out to me that there is a 25% charge to return goods. Even if they are returned within the period as a consumer you can reasonable return goods. All items unused, kept inside and un opened. In this case it was 20 days before return as the item was sitting awaiting to be used and when it wasn't right I exchanged it for the right product and was happy to pay the difference. It was only pointed out to me when I asked and they hadn't even pointed this out to other customers who were in the store who then thanked me for pointing it out and left. What they did do is reduce the return charge fee reducing it to 10% but also pointed out the signs about the fee which I was simply expected to have read before making a purchase. Not good business and I would suggest if your a member of the public purchasing goods that you go elsewhere where they will hopefully wave the fee if you need to return a one off item. Still charging me 10% was a bad decision and clearly not necessary if you had reduced it anyway. Nothing to do with working for a PLC as suggested or you would have stuck to 25%. Take note SIG and if your a sole trader or member of public suggest you look elsewhere as its likely you may need to return stuff.

   Went in here this evening. 15mins left till closing, and I had no idea about roofing tiles but these two gents that served me were real top guys, no rush, friendly, and gave me the guidance on the job that I was doing. And even though they didn’t have what I needed in stock, they found it in another branch for me. Will definitely be going back here when I need to. And I’ll definitely be passing you guys on to anyone that needs advice or supplies. Its great to see a business with top customer service. Thank you lads.
