   Max and Michael worked so hard to help us one evening. They were polite, professional and so determined to clear our blockage. After being inside and outside the property, attacking the object as best they could, Max finally said… we have good news… Michael was stood with the plastic toy carrot on the end of the device. Hooray! Thanks to all involved as the initial phone booking was friendly and reassuring too. Highly recommend.

   Max and Sam from Blockbusters were absolutely fantastic. They unblocked not only the toilet, but also the outside drain and the kitchen sink, and handled everything with real professionalism. Both were really friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient throughout. They stayed until the job was completely finished and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left.    We have had an issue with our drains for just over 2 years. BlockBuster were asked by southern housing to investigate. It turned out that it was southern waters responsibility. This argument went back and fourth for some months. Housing eventually footed the bill (disgusting from southern water, but no surprise for them to deny accountability) The staff that attended each time to the problem were very empathetic to our situation. They arrived on a very wet day did what they had to do. I would like to say that we have had some rain since then and fingers crossed we havent had any problems. Our garden no longer looks like a pond. Just wanted to show our appreciation and thanks for their support and hard work. Two fingers up to Southern Water!!

   We all dread calling out the plumbers and drain companies as you know you're at their mercy. From my experience I believe you can engage with this company with confidence. I'd got as far as I could clearing out our internal ensuite main drain ( toilet, bath,sink & shower ) and I knew it was still blocked up with hard scale that I couldn't get out. After some research I chose to call Blockbusters. During the call I had to confirm that there was no call out charge but they charge a minimum of an hours work at £125 and I fortunately asked if this was plus VAT and yes it was. So it's a £150 minimum once they start work. Fair enough, if they are good. Mat from Blockbusters turned up on time and he was good, polite and hard working. His Van is packed with quality tools and high class equipment with which I doubt there's many jobs that Mat wouldn't be able to fix and importantly quickly! FYI I'd already removed the WC for him to access the down pipe as well as unclipping the external sewer pipe. With his camera, Mat showed me where the build of scale was and set about clearing it all out with a hose drain cleaner. About 3kgs of hard lumps of scale came out and water ran free. The whole process took him about 45 mins and would have probably taken an hour in total if I'd not done the prep work. What impressed me most was that I believe Mat / Blockbusters are not out there to maximise each revenue opportunity and are efficient, hard working and looking to get the job completed in the quickest possible time for the client. Commendable I thought. Hence the review of which I don't do many but when I do, they're due and I trust you find my experience with Mat and Blockbusters very similar and pleasing.

   Blockbusters came to our rescue when dense plant growth in our drainage system prevented our soak away from working properly. They came promptly, were open about the cost and worked hard to unblock the obstructions. They returned later to replace part of the drainage system. They appear to have done a first class job.
