Really gone downhill. They are constantly stocking fruit and vegetables that are mouldy. Shelves are generally not fully stocked. Music is always way too loud, as if they are trying to make you hate being in there so you go in and out as quickly as possible. Range of products keeps getting smaller and smaller and prices keep going up and up. Self-checkout tills are frequently broken and without any receipt paper. Not a pleasant experience.

I always find the staff in this store to be rude and unpredictable, they tend to avoid helping you and look miserable when they do. Coop prices of common items as a whole are way above what Id expect to pay in other shops like tesco or asda

At 15:57 on Sunday 31/12/23, I was held up at the Co=op door by Sue Lovell; who is the manager. According to herself the store was closed, when I showed her the time on my iPhone showing 15:57, she said per my watch its 16:02 and that's what she would go by. I asked another customer about the time and she also confirmed that its 3 minutes to 4:00pm, that's when the she screamed and said what do you want? I said milk and she screams again hurry up and don't be long. I asked the staff inside as to who was the manager and they said the lady at the front is the manager. I said she is very very rude and the two youngish girls said yes she is....
The older chap on the till however said that we close at 15:57, he was just trying to be loyal to the manager. When I was leaving the store, I did say to the manager that she has been very rude and she was comfortable screaming at me as I am a person of colour, instead of apologising for her behaviour she said I believe you are very rude even though I was talking to her very calmly. I said to her that I will report her behaviour and that she is a racist to which she said I don't care, report me if you want. Why I believe she is a racist and I was targeted because she let another person in before me but I was stopped and got yelled at. I am sure this is not the first time she has done this and if this all goes unnoticed this won't be the last time. I am making a formal complaint to Co-op Head office regarding her unacceptable behaviour.

Is very handy to have this shop in the village. If you need some good quality wines or any food. Very clean and well organised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Car park is big enough , you have two entries, so there is no need to worry about access
