Manager was not helpfull just bossing around and I personally did see at visit,cashier asking about Necters own issued valid voucher was not going through the scanning and he instead of helping just says out of date which is still 242 days.Staff are very good and helpfull. Locals its very very continent. Yes 4 star other facilities

Knowing that the coupon for the Sunday Times would have to be authorised at a self-checkout till, meaning a staff member would be required, I did the decent thing and used the manned tills instead. Unfortunately, there were no staff at these tills because they were all picking items(mostly vapes it seems) for Just Eat and Deliveroo orders placed by lazy types that can't be bothered to walk, cycle, scoot or even drive here. After another customer in the queue collared a staff member and was told someone was coming, we waited several minutes, then we waited several more minutes as she searched for the Elf Bar vape flavour for another Deliveroo order. I can see why the till area is now in a fortified enclosure to protect the staff from irate customers. It took me less time to walk here than I spent waiting to be served and the moral of the story is to not do the decent thing but use the self-checkout and drag a staff member away from the evidently way more important Deliveroo and Just Eat orders rather than serving people that made the effort to actually go to the shop in person.

What have you done???? I am gobsmacked by the huge iron cage around the tills. Is there a new disease we don't know about? It's ridiculous. It doesn't work. There's no room to put your shopping into, once it's been passed through a pathetically small hole. I feel embarrassed for your staff, sainsbury. They have to put up with us customers constantly moaning about it. Get rid of it! It's a bloody eyesore & inconvenience.

Congratulations Sainsburys, you've managed to create the worst possible shopping experience! Firstly, I have to ask why does the shop stock all the shelves for lunch items at lunchtime? Today, as an example, I've gone in with perhaps 4 staff working in that aisle - cages everywhere so you can't get to the shelves and staff just pushing customers out of the way to stock things - could this not be done before a lunch rush? Secondly, the new cage you've put around the till. Baskets no longer fit on the checkout so the staff have to come out to get a basket and then they can't hear what the customer is saying when back inside said cage. I watched a chap today trying to ask for something to be put back as he couldn't afford everything, but the staff couldn't hear him - the queue could though - how embarrassing for him. Thirdly, the Deliveroo drivers that seem to think they own the shop and push past everyone. Fourthly the self serve checkouts that are filthy and don't work. It isn't just me that feels like this, the whole office where I work have stopped using it. Come on Sainsburys, surely you can do better than this?

Argh mateys! It be a grand day for grocery shoppin' when I visited Sainsburys Local. The store be well stocked with all the loot a pirate could want. The produce be fresh and the prices be fair. I be greeted by a friendly crew member who pointed me in the direction of the grog and grub. The shelves be filled with treasure, and I had no trouble findin' what I be lookin' for. As I be loadin' me loot into me cart, I couldn't help but notice the clean and tidy state of the store. No scurvy dogs here! The crew be workin' hard to keep the place shipshape. I be makin' me way to the checkout, and there be no long lines to speak of. The cashier be a jolly sort, and we had a good chuckle about the weather and such. All in all, it be a pleasurable experience. I'll be sure to set sail for Sainsburys Local again on me next grocery run. Ahoy!
