very bad service especially when ordering from eby and they will not prepare an order for you and for this reason you are waiting for 3 days
Used this as a parcel drop-off which I will never do again. Staff couldn't find the package and in the end, I found it myself. The long and short of it? The parcel had never been scanned in as received so officially it was still on route hence the problem. They seem to have a wide range of supermarket items, just avoid using them for important things like letters and parcels.
The store keeper is absolutely diabolical! Me and my mate were going there to browse and get some stuff, when we came across something we really wanted. We started to look at other stuff of the same thing since the one we had picked up first wasn't in the best condition. However, while we were doing so, the store keeper came to us and shouted at us to not touch it, and put it back. We listened but while we were doing so, he still wasn't satisfied saying dont touch, so we stopped but then he said to put it back. This was so stupid of him because how else am I meant to put it back? Then, we just picked a random one, payed for it, only for him to over pay us!
I love this place! It's always absolutely packed with interesting things that you don't find in other places. I don't drink any more, but I used to buy so much booze here!
Never use this shop for your parcels!!! For the first time I used this shop for my parcels and when I went there , Firstly a guy on the counter doesn't know anything + very rude and idiot. He is thinking we are asking for some help or cash and his Behaviour is like that!!! I asked for my parcel however he scanned the bar code then he says go and find your parcel there ???!!! There??? Where??? On the ground to many parcels one on the top of one like useless items or things on the ground. Like rubbish you may see some where so completely like that. I checked every parcel and couldn't find so other people in the same situation looking for their parcels but no body can find it!!! We went back to that guy and mentioned our parcels aren't there. He said then there no parcel for you!!! We said we have bar code with email that our parcels are here , he keep insisted no you don't have any parcels here. Then we noticed there at other corner of the shop on the ground there are parcels too like garbage one on the top of other!!! Very bad condition with parcels. Finally we could find our parcels and went back to that idiot and told him here is the parcels why you say your parcels aren't here while you scanned them as well, now he is silence like a donkey NO WORD!!! very bad experience so NEVER USE THIS SHOP FOR PARCELS AND SHOPPING AS WELL !!! TAKE THIS SERIOUS!!!
Good local shops with goodies and heplful friendly staff defentiley recommend going there.
never EVER send your parcels here, the shopkeepers are THIEVES. i sent my item here and when i arrived to pick it up the man told me to go look in the pile of hundreds of parcels . i checked and it was not there so i went back and asked where is it, they all were just clueless talking to eachother. I then left because i just knew something wasn’t right then as soon as i left my item tracking info changed from ready to collect to COLLECTED which I DID NOT COLLECT. i then left it for 2 days and went back where the man told me the courier will bring it in 2 days , 2 days went by and still being told to wait another 2 days i then went back for the last time and they said it’s going to be delivered to your house…. which would not of been possible as i didn’t include my address when i brought the item . avoid sending your parcels here at all costs as they don’t care at all and steal your items . Hope who ever has my parcel is enjoying it
Handy place to pick up ones Royal Mail parcels. The staff could do with smiling a bit more.
I had to go collect a parcel here and had my baby with me. Not only could the man not find the parcel I then ended up moving several other parcels to try to locate my item. (Not ideal with Covid.) The isles are that narrow and littered with boxes and goods which personally is feel is a hazard. It is almost impossible to get round the shop if you have a buggy or need a wheelchair. Although the shop seemed quite big. I couldn't see any of it and feel it was very narrow minded of the owner to present such a layout that excludes disabled people and those with mobility needs. I left this store after having to lift the buggy over crates of cans etc.. n went to the co-op. To sum it up... If your looking for the possibility of a.no win no fee claim... or fancy some off road style shopping terrain.. this is your store.. If you prefer to walk on flat surfaces or have mobility needs.. avoid at all costs. Memo for the Owner. Please look up the Equality Act 2010, which state shops should be accessible and stop being so discriminate.
This is a great little shop that I enjoy doing my little shops at. I can find all my West Indian cuisine seasoning and food items all under one roof and the prices are cheap comparatively too. Highly recommend for most of your Favourite Jamaican cuisine and culinary items that you need.
