Good grocery store in the heart of the village. Pleasant discounts and reduced prices. Fresh sourdough bread is delicious!

Moulton co-op has the potential to be word class in many departments, especially with its practical location. However, It lacks the passion and desires and there is some massive hurdles before it can be talked about the same bracket as a ‘greggs’ or ‘Aldi’. The attributes of this co-op that make it such an exiting prospect is the quality of its products. The bakery and hot food especially. They honestly have some stupendous sustenances which you’ll struggle to match anywhere else’s. Also the staff come across as relatively friendly. The car park and surrounding area of benches are class attributes that you can’t associate with many other businesses trying to provide a similar service. Unfortunately the drawbacks to this co-op are far too great and somewhat overshadow their top quality products. Its most detrimental hurdle to it being able to fulfil its potential is the consistent overpricing of the majority of products with odd exceptions like the 6 bag of sausage rolls. Where the lack of desire really starts to show is the empty shelves and inconsistencies at reducing foods. Most days the ready made food, like wraps and hot food, is cleared before most people’s lunchtimes (around 12am - 1pm). The meal deals are fraudulent. Not once out of the many attempts have I been charged the offer price for the products. Whether it’s the co-op exploiting us vulnerable people who will fall easy victims because we don’t check receipts by overcharging us and not applying the ‘deal’ aspect to the meal. Or I don’t select correct items for the deal due to the unclear labelling and poor structuring, which is unlikely as I have attempted varied combinations. An enquiry into this needs to be made as soon as possible. Overall it’s currently a ‘meh’ local shop but with a reevaluation of the pricing, a tactical re shuffle of some of the structure, and a bit more passion to keep shelves stocked this really could be a generational local shop.

Terribly ran store, queues are always very long with staff prioritising anything but serving customers. Stock is normally ok but sometimes refrigerators are bare. Fantastic if you like queueing longer than it takes to shop.

Have experienced overcharging on a number of occasions. Items on offer on the shelves priced at full value on the till. Check your receipts. Strangely, never undercharged! Handy shop for a village though, for those times when you can't face traipsing around the big stores.

Recently refurbished. Meduim size Coop branch. Range is decent and prices as other Coop's. Free car parking at rear of shop. Always been clean and tidy when I've visited. They have some good offers on alcohol most of the time. Staff are fine.
