The staff on the tills are like robots. I asked the lady not to go fast at putting my shopping down the till reply was you don't have to keep up. Never again will I shop there.
I love Lidl. Sometimes I want to buy some fruit, sometimes I want to buy coffee, Perhaps I want to buy a really specialised tool to do an obscure type of Japanese wood working. Lidl sells all those things.
Been shopping here for around 6 years, lately seems to have very entitled female employees, one told me I wasn't allowed to to have the mushrooms she was just putting out and to have the ones that were going off on same day which I ignored. At check outs it's hard to get a receipt without some kind of huff and a puff, yes I have app yes I have digital receipt but what if I don't have data at the time and a error made and i notice it while walking back to my car, just give me my receipt when asked I don't need sass. So many other issues to add. These type of staff stress me out as j just want to be left in peace to shop without being made out to feel like a preschool child. Will shop at aldi around the corner and see if that turns out any better.
Although it was a bit of a rugby scrum around the meat chiller, it was fairly uncrowded really . Lovely sauces, lots of new oriental sauce pkts requiring just the addition of meat and/ or veg. I absolutely love this place, especially to try something I've never had before at a decent price.
Very good got what I needed . Prices very good. Worst part paying. Cashier practically threw shopping down and started next customer before I'd packed. Go to aldi usually and am never rushed like that.
Have shopped at Lidl for years because of the low prices & love your malted bread. But more importantly have always found the staff to be very helpful & friendly especially while going through the till area. Staff recognise us & we always have a short natter while our shopping is being bar coded. Thank you for making our visits such a joyous occasion Elaine Turner
Service was terrible. Cashier was talking loudly to another associate. Not saying anything to the customers that where spending their hard earned money in the store. No hi and no thank you. I finally asked her if she was serving customers or was just chatting with her mate. She then told me we where being rude.
I like Lidl. I like all the brightly coloured packaging. I like the special promos they have for world food. This was the first Lidl I went to, and although Northampton has bigger and better ones, I still kinda like this one.
