We did plan to have a Sunday roast here however we booked the wrong date and the kitchen was closed at 6 when we got there. It’s a lovely dog friendly pub with a working fire. Staff were friendly and the locals great to talk to.
We were able to get a table in this beautiful pub. The food was beautiful and the atmosphere enjoyable. Very helpful, attentive staff. Perfect!
So lucky to have The Crown just up the road from me. Enjoyed it's boozy offerings for a while but never got the chance to sit down for a proper meal until recently. Food and service are bang on, and it's such a cosy space. My only criticism was the scotch egg was a little overcooked, but the main course made up for it. Will definitely be back!
My wife and I visited the Crown again this evening after several years and were very pleasantly surprised. It was amazingly busy for a Wednesday evening both in the bar and restaurant (so would definitely recommend booking) but despite the work load the staff were fantastic, the food was reasonably priced and couldn’t be faulted. We are so pleased to have found another lovely dog friendly pub/restaurant.
An excellent pub where friendly, helpful staff serve first class food. Unlike many pubs serving food of this quality, the portions are a good size, too. Check availability, they don't serve food every day. There was a limited x choice of real ale but the one I tried was in perfect condition.
Lovely lunch, beautiful decor and lots of happy doggos too.
We had the best meal at the Crown Inn today - I was excited to go here as I heard they were dog friendly and do the best doggy roast. 6 of us went with one dog and had the most amazing Sunday lunch. The vegan options were brilliant and every single one of us was more than happy with our meal. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The service is brilliant and overall it’s a lovely place to go and dine. Our dog absolutely loved his roast. We will definitely be coming back here. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.
Absolutely perfect, wonderful food, staff and location....A new find for us. Heard how excellent it was and it didn't disappoint. The Menu was very exciting. We've got lots more to try. Will be back multiple times. Thank you.
Had a lovely meal, food was enjoyable, but service was not as polished as it should be, no dessert cutlery, no condiments, had to ask about wine list and specials board. Custard pot was laughable, size of a thimble.
Fantastic wedding venue! We had the best wedding reception at this pub! We stumbled on it by chance and it did not disappoint. Superb quality of food at reasonable prices, helpful and attentive staff, attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble.
