This Next shop is perfect. The clothes they sell here is excellent as always and has the same layout as all Next shops. Even has a Costa on first floor.
The men’s selection of clothing is absolutely abysmal, I’ve never seen such a Next store with clothing that looks likes it was 2 seasons out of fashion! Every other Next store I’ve been to seem to have a perfectly fine range. But to top it off, the customer service is non existent. Went in there to try a shirt on, couldn’t find anyone to speak to - eventually found someone but he was busy speaking to the guy in Costa. Asked if okay to try, he said yes, then gave me directions to the changing area and ‘instructions on where to find the shirts to try on’. - the chap from Costa (who he was speaking to) said, “aren’t you going to go and show him?”. The Next employee just said, ‘No’. And then people wonder why High Street stores are closing by the dozen and losing out to On-line retailers!
Wow ! I’ve been a regular customer of next in Horsham . However recent customer service is absolutely appalling !!. Lady with glasses , full-figured, both hands covered in tattoos , I think she was a manger was on the shop floor . I have requested a help from her - she than throw a tantrum and had a massive attitude, refused to help me and send me to queue as if I was purchasing a single shoe ? ( before I’ve paid for one pair of shoes already for my child ) this time I was trying to shop for myself. Anyway eventually young girls who were nice could not leave the till so they had to call her for help as she was on the floor. She come and assisted. I continued my shopping once my friend overheard this manager insulting me and talk about me out loud as if I were rude cause I’ve asked for help. I’ve politely come to the till and ask why she talks so loud about me and why she think I was rude ? All the time in shop I’ve had lovely time I was happy and smiling even despite her bad attitude and constant rudeness. Lovely young girls served me and it seems as they were relived as if someone finally told her how her bad attitude is lingering around the shop. It’s not nice atmosphere to work with and definitely a very bad customer service ! The full-figured lady was lucky I was in a happy mood but I could off been a lady who had just come out of hospital, or even my child, and come to the shop to treat us all. She never knew who she was dealing with and her job is to provide a customer service and yes look for that second missing shoe if a customer would like to purchase this on a day , anyway if she doesn’t enjoy her job than I’m sure there would be plenty other people who would be very keen to fill her role and provide a great customer service .
Took back some shoes that was faulty the 2 staff upstairs could not have been any worse. However was asked to go downstairs and KAY was fantastic, she understood, she helped and in the end brought some more expensive shoes which should last!!! Reasons for 5 star is despite an issue KAY made the process smooth and helped me build my trust back in the brand as been a customer here for many years. Thank you KAY.
once again terrible customer service from next went in to collect a parcel and was made to stand in a queue for 18 minutes while the 5 staff standing around took one order number at a time to do click and collect no apologies for the wait nothing shocking.
I was served by Duncan who was very polite and patient with me in assisting me today. Each time I visit, I’m always greeted with a friendly face. Nice location and good selection also
Lovely fresh new store but the children's checkout and collection area needs some clarity. There is no sign saying which end to queue, only an unclear and unnoticed exit sign which people don't see and end up going straight to the checkout while a long queue is waiting the other end!! Also this collection area is so slow as there are not enough staff managing the desk. Please could you look at your signs and make them clearer and call in extra help when the queue gets long.
