Very good store, but for the second time the young saleswoman charged me much more than I was entitled to pay. I never take receipts because I'm in a hurry. That's why I prefer self-checkout to don't be overcharged.
Super local store with parking. Compliments to the duty manager and CSA on shift early this morning. Staff who were stocking a fridge nearby, actually noticed me circling, looking for mushrooms, stopped what they were doing and asked me if she could help. Generally, if you need help in a shop these days, you have to find a member of staff and ask for help. It was refreshing to have a staff notice me and proactively seek to assist. At the till, the CSA/cashier was also chatty and friendly. A fine example of good old fashioned local hospitality and fantastic customer service. Came in for mushrooms and out feeling like I was going to have a really good day. People matter.
Customer service tonight absolutely awful. Young man called Aiden, No hello or thank you. Looked miserable, didn’t want to help me with something. Had to wait for at least 5 minutes, which in a little shop where you want to be in and out quickly doesn’t help. then eventually a nice young lady (wish I knew her name) who was very busy came over. Please employ friendly staff with a smile
I was very shocked today. Waited to be served as needed a bag. Staff member came behind the counter handed bag and went back to other job. Customer service is dead. They should have served me face to face. I keep getting HORRIFIC experiences in coop shops. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Nobody likes a fine. Parked for a few minutes over the 40 minute limit. £60 fine through the door, turns into £100 if paid after 14 days of issue date (took 4 days to be delivered). You can appeal, but it'll take 28 days for a response. Clever crooked system. Will drive the extra few minutes to Tesco Express in future.
Well stocked. Good staff, helpful and polite. But it's expensive in my opinion, I know it's a convenience store but........
Enjoy popping in to this place the staff are so friendly and chatty always smiling shelves are always well stocked up the backery has some nice bites but you need to be quick as it goes quickly especially the fresh cooked croissants and there is an amazon locker inside also
Started using this store during lockdown staff friendly and helpful. Struggling to keep shelves filled but who isn't. Rather have a friendly good morning than face a lidl robot. Dont knock the staff doing there best !! In here today have been using this regularly for 6 months introduced self scan? Older people generally use this place. 2 members of staff behind counter usually 1 trying to help people? Old dogs new tricks? Meanwhile shelves not being stocked up. Doesn't work when u sell a lot of age restricted items! Give the staff a break!!!
Never have any sandwiches - This is the 3 day running the staff laughing when i asked where are your sandwiches. Just said manager forgot to order any. Also no milk yesterday or chocolate. There is clearly no management here. I feel sorry for the other staff having to deal with this. I work nearby and now drive to Tesco so I can get a sandwich.
Went here on Sat morning. Quite a slow in line waiting at check out. Served by a young member of staff who you could clearly tell wished he was somewhere else. Yawning, slumped over the till waiting for the receipt, rolling his eyes. Cmon co op sort this out. Very bad. I will not be back.
