Soooo busy, been going to the club for ages and during the peak times it’s past capacity. Dirty changing rooms and showers because of it. People crammed into a tiny sauna like sardines. It’s not pleasant.

Very disappointed with the behaviour of the Pilates instructor, Karoline. I needed to keep my phone on me in case of emergencies, and at no point had she (or anyone else at the gym) informed me that phones were not allowed in the studio. This has never been an issue in any of the other Pilates classes I’ve attended at this gym. In the middle of the class, Karoline came over to me and said she had “said several times” that you cannot go on your phone. I hadn’t heard her say this, and her approach felt unnecessarily confrontational. She also claimed this was a “health and safety” issue. She insisted that I go and put my phone in my locker halfway through the class, rather than simply allowing me to leave it on the side. Her attitude throughout was obnoxious and made the whole experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. I left feeling very disappointed and won’t be returning to her classes.

Do not bother attending any reformer Pilates classes with Mia. You book onto the class and attend a few minutes before but get turned away as she has given the space to someone else. Not even new to the class so no help needed for set up. Great use of a booking system!! She also just shames you in front of the whole class for attending a class that you have booked and attended on time! Absolutely disgusting.

The quality of the club has gone downhill in the last few years and this is simply because it’s past capacity, it’s constantly busy - and I mean constantly - if you’re luck on a weekday at 2-3 maybe it’s quiet but expect packed saunas, a very busy gym

Whilst Virgin Collingtree undoubtedly has the best indoor and outdoor pools in the area, the actual club itself has gone down over the past couple of years. The cleaners are great but there aren’t enough of them, especially at the weekend and the showers and floors are often very dirty. The changing areas need a complete makeover and there is inadequate cover when class instructors are off sick or on holiday. For the price Virgin charges it isn’t good enough.

Went here for a massage and to use the facilities as I had a voucher - thr massage was amazing 55mins and it was so worth it. The jacuzzi , spa and sauna area was clean and spacious really enjoyed my stay , would definitely go back! And the outdoor pool was warm! Was expecting to be freezing so was pleasantly surprised!

At first I was very reluctant to pay so much for a gym membership, but I'm pleased I did. Love this gym. A lot of different classes suited for all levels of fitness. Great friendly staff and instructors. Lovely big clean changing rooms.

Loved coming here. The staff are fantastic, made me feel really welcome and comfortable. I had had some issues with a voucher and they helped me and made me feel calm. What a lovely site with fantastic facilities. I will be back.
