Delivery shorter than 6 hrs from the order. I ordered 132 items, 1 piece arrived excellent quality, 1 piece curved beam arrived and they sent 130 roofing battens full water and extremely moldy. Wasted money and a wasted customer. They collect the next day of delivery, all moldy battens and promised to send a refund this week.
Great experience from start to finish. From my initial call to ask a few questions, to the online ordering and delivery. Very helpful, good quality timber and delivered when they agreed and left exactly where I requested. Will definitely use again.
Kept getting let down by local companies who were charging a fortune, took days to deliver and then kept dropping off rotten bits of wood. Very stressful when you want to be getting on with stuff. I must have tried 3 different timber yards that were like this. Every time I order from S Keeling though it usually turns up the same day, wood is always excellent quality and rarely have to throw any out. Have a very convenient collection service where you can select what time you’ll be there so you don’t have to stand around waiting for ages like at other places.
Have used this company about 3 or 4 times now whilst doing our major refurb of our bungalow. They have always had what we needed, in stock and at good prices. The online ordering system makes things really easy and the delivery times are always great. I have been able to place orders late into the evening online, and had delivery the very next day, often before lunchtime too. The staff are always really helpful if you need any advice and the delivery drivers too provide a great, courteous delivery service. Would highly recommend Keelings Timber. Will continue to use them as we progress thru our bungalow refurb.
Wouldn’t get my timber from anywhere else, timber,skirting board and cladding was all quality stuff and couldn’t of asked for a nicer bunch of lads good quality service
