Great for younger kids but I also enjoy coming here with my dog, the kids play in the park and I can throw a ball for the dog on the grassy areas and they all get their exercise together! Could possibly do with an older children's frame and slide as the park is aimed at little ones but it's a nice safe space in a good spot for locals. We often go here on a walk to the library and stop for some fun.

Shocked at the state of this park during my last visit! Dog mess in the gated play area, safety flooring, we'll isn't safe and lifting all over which is creating own hazard.

Great space. Enclosed. Fabulous greenery. Quite a bust road next to it however.

Quirky little park with play area and interesting features. Paths being improved for pushchairs and wheelchair users. Some interesting improvements for wildlife planned.

Quite nice and beautiful Park with lots of mature trees and Children's Play Area. The park is along the stretch of the Brynawel. The area is a hilly area going higher from the High Street towards Alltywerin along the Brynawel, but the King George V Park has little to none gradient compared to the Brynawel. However, the park goes downhill with gradual and layered at different places towards the direction of the Pontardawe Swimming Pool. A set of stairs allow access to the park from Alltywerin. Some part of the park is layered and hence, has got small plight of stairs for access! Step-Free access is from the High Street end of the Brynawel. The park has a fenced & gated Children's Play Area at the end of Alltywerin. There is also a bowling green in the middle of the Park. Well signposted but addition of a map would enhance the experience! Visual map speaks volume and easier for people with who find difficulties in reading or with lots of texts! Overall, professionally and skillfully maintained Park for residents and visitors to take the advantage of the fresh air and green space!
