Very peaceful walk along the river and a lovely surprise to see the pigs. Sadly didn't see any kingfishers, but enjoyable anyway

Visited here when our trip to another near by waterfall led us to a housing estate. Pretty deflated we decided to soldier on towards Gower. This place is wonderful. We saw all the mini water falls and climbed the slippy steap hill to get to the biggest waterfall. Which was so refreshing and beautiful. The people we passed on the way through were friendly too. I cant wait to go back despite the huge horse fly bites!!
Did an out and back walk here. Lovely bird song. Handy free parking. Trail map with some area history on the wall of the car park to the left where the paths start. Bird info board also near the car park. Section of trail is flat so could be accessible to all.
Following a couple of days of stormy weather and rainfall I was dubious about leading a group of 10 on this usually beautiful 10 mile walk (literature says 9 but after 3 recces I'd say it's more like 10.5) But we were blessed with dry weather .. muddiest walk I've ever done but the clydach river, woodlands , sprawling mountains with awesome panoramic views , 2 churches, burial chambers, interestingly placed stones makes for a fantastic walk. Not for the faint hearted as it can be challenging particularly after lots of rain .. but with a sturdy pair of walking boots, sticks and waterproofs you won't be disappointed at the end of this walk

A beautiful, easy in the dry, walk in the countryside. Loads of bird life and the river running through is very scenic, with little beaches along the way. A lovely loop walk which takes about 45 minutes.

I love Cwm Clydach! It’s an easy walk if you prefer it ( I’m disabled, but my scooter easily goes along the path) it’s a peaceful tree lined path, with the river running alongside and numerous little waterfalls. There are signs of previous industry everywhere if you’re interested in that. It’s also a good place for bird spotting . We usually do about 2 miles but there are much longer and more challenging walks. It’s particularly lovely at the moment , with the trees changing colour in autumn! You won’t get too muddy either.
Nice easy access walk along a great looking, fast flowing river. Any birders looking for both Dipper and Spotted Flycatcher will get them here quite easily.
