Been in this morning in my work clothes and asked for a scratch card to put in a birthday card and refused to serve me without ID I'm 36 years old use some common sense woman !! Absolutely pathetic
This store deserved more praise. And it's ONLY the lovely and dedicated staff who make each visit a lovely one. I prefer to go here than the superstore, purely because of the outstanding service new roar Tesco. Please look after your staff and stop using them to the limit. Give them the wages they deserve. Stop using hard working people. To name a few that I know are Julia, Ryan, Cheryl, Emma, Sarah along with the other girls I'm not familiar with their names...sorry.
Pathetic rules on energy drinks. Just called in for a few bits and piece with my 16 year old son who was helping me carry them to the self service til. Because he was holding a can of monster (for me) the young lady would not allow me to purchase it. Is my word not good enough as a customer of 44 years of age? What if my son was carrying the box of wine I purchased? Would your cashier assume that was for my son as well and that I’d be letting him consume a full box of wine?? He actually turned 16 only last week so if he wanted it he could purchase it anyway but yo embarrass a customer like that and take the product off me was disgusting!! I’ll be taking it further.

The self checkout doesn’t take cash, and when you want to pay in cash most off the time they’ll be no staff standing there to serve you so you have to wait or find a staff member. They also will ID you for a energy drink if you look anything under 60. But it does have a cash machine outside which is handy and also has parking right outside the door.

My wife went in to grab a redbull, she only had a photo of her passport, then was refused. She asked the cashier to keep her stuff at the till as she will send me in with my valid photo ID. I went in was refused service even though I had my valid ID. Can't think of any reason except the cashier was racist. Really got to me as we have been driving for hours with our baby in the car, so needed a redbull to feel refreshed. Disappointed all in all. Would request managers to check cctv and enquire into this behavior as times have moved on and this not acceptable.
As you would expect, hate the pay more without a clubcard thing.
A great store for picking up a few essential items. The store had everything you would expect and was well stocked. Has a large carpark on site and the staff are very friendly.
