Castle ruins. The castle is in a picturesque location, providing an excellent vantage point for Cliffs Bay Beach. The view is stunning. I really wanted to go down and take a walk, but there was a storm.

We walked from the golf course parking lot to the castle. It was a marked path. You have to stay on the path marked with white stones. This was incredible! Not many people there so we could explore the ruins and imagine what it would be like back in the day! The views out to the water were fantastic. If you are a golfer this would be a wonderful golf experience as there are rolling hills and mounds and spectacular views!

Quite a climb through the sand dunes but worth it for the view and ruins....and it's free. Footpath could be improved with a bit more signage though.

Bit of a trek from three cliffs bay but definitely worth it. The view from up there is amazing. You will be walking up to the castle and back down on dry loose sand, so it does take some effort.

Parked at the Golf Course, had permission to ask we had drinks in the clubhouse. A walkover the path through the golf course leads you to the castle ruins. You get the best views of Three Cliffs Bay, you can walk down the sandy path to the beach where there are stepping stones and a great walk.

Beautiful!! Google maps tries to take you to a housing development nearby but don’t listen. Go to the Gower Heritage Center and they’ll give you a walking map! The views were incredible and the walk was lovely, even in cold December!

Beautiful ruined castle on a hill above Three Cliffs Beach, free of charge. Did a round trip walk to the beach from the visitor centre. Come out of yhe centre, cross the road to the sign for the path through a wooded area. To the right leads to a gentle path down to the beach. If you cross the stepping stones across the river at the beach, you can walk up through the sand dunes to the castle, from there, take the left hand path down through the trees just before you would cross the golf course and that takes you back to your starting point on the path from the other direction. Besutiful views. So peaceful.

Not much left but the main gate where you can see the bow slots and spear holes used to kill and maim would be intruders. Beautiful views, look out for flying golf balls.

There's not a huge amount left of the castle, but it commands a fantastic position up on the top of a hill overlooking Three Cliffs bay. The views are stunning and well worth the 10 minute walk up from the beach.
